Besse's On Clear Lake

The service was wonderful and have to try the livers they were phenomenal....

First time here. Came with our Corvette club. The place was very nice. The rib dinner was fall off the bone delicious.

Went tonite for the 1st time. WOW!! Fabulous food my friends both had the ribs, delicious and I had the salmon which was perfectly done and vegetable cooked tender crisp. Service was spectacular. Will definitely be back

Besses is by far the best Supper Club in the Northern Woods, bar none!
Outstanding service, to die for food and reasonably priced. Well worth the trip from anywhere.

We went and ate there and the food and service were great! The owner even came over and talked with us! Very friendly! Will return!

This isn’t a hotel so not sure why Google has it listed as such. It is a very enjoyable restaurant.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner again tonight. There are few restaurants we return to during our stay Up North because there are so many great places here, but Besse’s is one of them. Our server was friendly, professional and knew the menu well. She welcomed us back, recognizing us from our previous visit 2 weeks ago.
Two of us started with the sauerkraut, potato and ham soup which we ordered out of curiosity and really enjoyed. The other person in our party had the salad which was fresh, crisp and he liked the homemade vinaigrette.
The pork chop was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, the Parmesan Crusted Cod was amazing and I had the Chicken Piccata again which was very nicely prepared. Last time we were here my daughter had the ribeye and said it was on her Top 3 list! She works at a high end steak house in Texas so she knows a great steak.
During the day, the view from the bar is great and I imagine the patio seating is wonderful in nice weather.
We are a group of foodies and have all been in the business. Don’t miss out on a great meal - give Besse’s a try!
