Fast friendly service. Amazing sized burgers, and loaded Bloody Mary. Bourbon Burger has wonderful flavor but a little messy. It was worth the mess!!

Really great bar with a great view of the water. Some of the comfiest bar stools on the planet. Service was great, bartender was super busy, but she stayed on top of it and was always friendly. We didn't eat, but the food coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic.

Our friends turned us on to Castaways, & now we can’t get enough of it. The appetizers are great (Reuben rolls are homemade too), our son had the monster Wisco burger and boy, that thing is huge, plus other burgers & sandwiches. This last visit we had fish fry, fish tacos, baked haddock & more. All of our fish dishes were really good. The clam chowder soup and beer cheese soup were excellent. Cocktails are good with some specialty varieties. Nice atmosphere, great service & the owner is super nice. Right on the Wisconsin River so it has a great view from the dining room. Very clean inside as well.

Avoid if possible, better options in the area. Kitchen staff refused to do a simple customization on an order. Food is overpriced and charges outrageous fees for things like “sharing plates”. Atmosphere is okay, server was okay, if you are going to spend money for a meal out, go elsewhere.

We enjoyed the beer at Castaways, but unfortunately the food wasn't our favorite. The chicken salad sandwich didn't taste right, and was quite wet. The bread itself tasted stale as well. Good spot for drinks, but if I were to go back I would probably pass on the food.

We have enjoyed the treasure hunt hosted by Castaways for several years now. Thank you, Castaways! What a hoot! The puzzle of finding "Booty" on the High Seas of the Wisconsin River around Tomahawk with a pontoon-full of friends is always a recipe for great memories and silly hijinks! Aargh! & Thank you to Lynn for Captaining this Great Pirate Adventure each year! We'll join the crew every year we're able!

Here a year ago, crabby unsmiling staff, over and other employees stood in group talking about customers, we were interested in the new ownership but not received with a smile. Fish fry average and costly. Was there yesterday for another try. Bartender not friendly, no smiles, we did not feel welcome. Food was terrible, steak bites hard and crunchy, ravioli fied to crisp, sauce could not save it. Beer soup was so thick you could turn bowel over and it would stick. Soup tasted like melted Velveeta. Never going back.
