The bar has great atmoshere, supurb food, the best pool tables in the entire area and a spectacular view of beautiful Lake Michigan!!!!However .. the very best thing about the Sandpiper Bar & Grille is the owners (and their family). Fran and Sue (and their son Brian) are as good as they come. I am a long-time friend of theirs, and many would think I'm biased because of that, but if you meet them personally for the first time, you'll see what I saw long ago .. they are sincere and down-to-earth, love family, people, pool and life.The place and the people are a class act! It doesn't get any better than this folks!

Friendly staff makes you feel like a regular. Plenty of regular guests. We had burgers, fries, soup and onion rings and a candy bar. Everything was good. Cute soup caddies were a homey feel touch. We were there around 6 on a Friday night. Busy place, but not a loud bar scene so it was comfortable.
