Country Rose Bakery Cafe

I love this cafe! The atmosphere is so open and bright. I'd love to come back in summer and sit on their patio. The food and bakery were tasty and the latte was delicious too! The service was amazing. They were so accommodating. Just really nice old fashioned table service.

Cafe at the roundabout in the middle of nowhere, but it is NOT a sleeper. My bad for driving by for decades without stopping. The skillet I had was awesome and the portion size was perfect. Their bakery items were all so delicious.

First and last time coming here for food. I've lived in the area for about 6 years now and this was the first time trying Country Rose. Walked in with my daughter to have a late breakfast and it just felt odd from the start. It seemed like all eyes were on us as if the place was strictly for known, dedicated, returning customers. The dining area is pretty nice, well kept with great looking decor and with a good atmosphere to be able to have conversation. The place wasn't super busy but it took a little bit for a server to come over, greet us and start us off. I had the breakfast burrito and my daughter had the cinnamon swirl french toast. $12 and $8 respectfully but that's all you get as any sides are all separate. Waited a half hour for our food to be served while people seated after us were already being served ( I understand not every order is the same and things cook faster or longer depending on what you order but this was a burrito with eggs, avocado, cheese, onions and an order of french toast ).Noticed that the other customers were greeted with the option for coffee after seated before placing their initial drink/food order but that option wasn't presented to my daughter or myself. Not once did our server attempt to come back by after our food was served to see if anything else was needed or if everything was good. The food was good but the overall personal experience made us feel like we were not welcomed there and almost like we were outcasts or drifters. It was just a really weird and uncomfortable feeling from table to check.

Great all-time service. Excellent food. They also have fresh honey that is locally harvested. Excellent desserts that you can buy on your way out the staff is super friendly and very nice.
Not too many local diners like this left around... highly recommended

Ordered our granddaughter’s graduation cake. It’s our fourth time ordering the same sheet cake: white with danish raspberry filling and whipped icing. It was the best one yet! Amazing. The whole party I kept hearing such positive reviews from the guests. This is the most delicious cake I’ve ever had.

Very nice cafe- omelets were wonderful and the bakery display of course tempted us-bought scones & homemade cookies. Servers were right on with the coffee.
