The service was fine and the perch was very good. Don’t order the prime rib special on Saturday . It’s the worst I’ve ever had. It looked like it was boiled and then coated in salt.

We came here as a recommendation from my Mom and her Husband. We were able to try some good food, mainly the fried Perch & Walleye, which are not allowed in California because they are more worried about the trout & salmon there 😕! But I have been telling my girlfriend how good both the fish and cheese curds are and now she has gotten to experience them firsthand! We also really loved the Duck Wontons as well!

Ordered food for take out, they said 30 mintues. I get there, they are still working on it. Okay, so I waited. I ended up waiting for a little over an hour, they haven't even started it. Meanwhile other people that ordered out were coming and going.

Only been here once in my lifetime, many years ago. We decided to go for lunch one day and check it out again. It's always been known in this area for their great fish. I ordered the battered cod. It was tough and chewy. I almost needed to cut it with a knife. Very odd, not sure if it was re-cooked, frozen too long, etc. Someone else mentioned the tarter sauce in their review, and while I do not eat it, my husband does. He's very picky about it and specifically remembers liking it at Wendt's. Not this time. Not a big deal really, but a thing. Overall it was a lackluster lunch. We are probably good for another 20 years or so.

Excellent perch as usual. Very friendly and fast service.
Used to be the best perch. Not anymore. Sometimes really good, sometimes very bad. So inconsistent! They claim to serve perch portions by the ounce but the size of the fillets vary considerably and yet the same number of butterflies are served regardless which doesn't make sense.
