2022 5-star review: Cozy place for coffee, lunch and bakery. * Updated October 2024: please learn how to make a proper Flat White... (no, it's not blonde espresso).*

Nice place for coffee, blended drinks, bakery, and the homemade soup is awesome. Nice people working there and a comfortable atmosphere.

Found this place by accident while biking the Glacial Drumlin Trail. Cookie ice cream sandwiches made with Mullen's ice cream! Great Chai tea latte too

Delightful place for a sip. The only negative is the at the seating is a nightmare. Why not change the seating to small tables? It would greatly open the space, and the current 10ft long picnic tables wouldn’t close off 80% of the people who want to stop in and sit for a little while. Other than that, beautiful spot.

I've had good experiences with Mama D's in the past, so I'm giving a 3 star rating which I think is pretty generous considering my last visit. My wife ordered the waffle for $8.50 and it left a whole lot to be desired. It was literally the size of a donut, but 7 dollars more than what you would pay for a donut! Not a very satisfying experience to say the least!

We have never been disappointed when stopping here for quick food and drinks. It's SO tiny though. I really wish they'd move to a bigger space. Definitely stop in!

Best yo eat/drink outside if you can. Kinda crowded inside. Great for bikers on the trail.

First time to this location. This one is on a quiet street near the Glacial Drumlin Bike Trail. It's an older building that has been lovingly card for. It's interior is nicely furnished with different tables, with lots of natural light through the big front windows.

Ordered a couple of lattes (one coffee, one chai), with a yummy piece of bakery. Everything was very good. The servers were pleasant, efficient, and helpful.

One small gripe. The screen door is old fashioned (like the one we have at home). It does not have a "closer" on it, and it slams. Many of the people that come in know this. But when the person does not (like our first time), the door slams, making a loud bang, which can be very startling. Maybe they could find a solution to stop the banging?

Would definitely come back again.

Parking: plenty of spots on street
