Gleefully welcomed ! Ordered up full rack of ribs, baked potatoes, Mac and cheese and corn bread ! Ribs super spicy just the way I enjoy them 😋 loaded baked potato minus the meat delicious, wanted more 😁 chatted away with friendly employees !

What a great experience. Sausage, pulled pork, brisket, beans, slaw and peach cobbler. Abundance of food. Ordered for 10 and we had 9 and then second meal for 7. We have left overs!
Great working with Otis. Efficient and reasonably priced. We have to be sure we order more often.

Stopped in for lunch at work. They have a deal for $2 off any plate. Ended up with the brisket and it was some of the most tender brisket I've ever had. Beans and peach cobbler were great too. Only complaint would be that i would love to see some homemade bbq sauce.

Went into Big O’s today and just by the smell of pulling up to the door you can tell it was going to be some great food. I ordered the brisket plate & omg it is amazing the brisket is perfectly cooked to my liking. I also got smoked baked beans and coleslaw for the sides. Baked beans are so delicious they are also smoked so even more flavor coleslaw could have used a bit more but I enjoyed them also. The people were very attentive and made sure that you had everything you needed . Overall 9/10 very much recommend.

We love Big O’s because of its owner, staff and amazing food. Being a local biz we love trading goods and Otis and I have done a few. He never disappoints and is extremely consistent. If you haven’t yet, check their hours and grab lunch or dinner when in Waterford.

Where to begin... i will start by saying Otis, the owner definitely has Texas hospitality and an ease about him let's you know he would be a good friend. The staff was also on point, showing ambition and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
I've traveled all over the US for work,and alot of time in Texas, usually in small towns close to big city's, I've had my share of bad BBQ and good, the good never comes from a fancy place that millions was spent to put you in a rustic setting. The good always comes from a place that has a pit outback that has more build of of smoke than the inside of a chimney during January. The money isn't spent on fancy tables or decor, it's spent on quality products, and in bbq, meat isn't cheap. Otis has done this, bringing his roots and traditional Texas Q with him to Wisconsin. The meat is well seasoned with a good amount of smoke flavor.
First time here, will not be the last!

Less than a year ago, we had Big O’s for the first time and loved the BBQ. Whether it was the pulled pork, brisket, or amazing smoked sausage, everything was well made and reasonably priced. Seeing as we loved Big O’s food, we thought it may be a good choice for our wedding catering and personally talked with the owner to make this happen. Otis sat down with us and gave us his full attention in making the catering plan. We scheduled the date of the catering, and when the day finally came, Big O’s provided everything we could have asked for. From great service, promptness, large portions, cutlery, and obviously the great BBQ, we were so pleased with how everything turned out. Our guests loved the food and were talking about it for weeks to come.

The food was very delicious, but what stuck out to me was the service. Otis introduced himself to me and chatted with me for about 10 minutes, and his staff inside the restaurant also introduced themselves to me and were very welcoming. My only request would be to have an in-house bbq sauce or two. Sausage, brisket, beans, and peach cobbler are awesome. Will be back

Honestly unsure how others gave it 5 stars at all. Did something change that it was previously good? Meat was very dry (brisket), corn bread was very dry too. The pulled pork was very dry and had some strange seasoning on it. The only BBQ sauce was Sweet Baby Ray's. No butter available.

Mac and cheese tasted like something generic from a package. Besides the meats, I don't know that anything is made in-house here.

The place needs an overall. Strange layout, hard to read menu, lack of sauce/ condiments, strange vibe all around.

There was a broken down truck out back with missing windows, hood open, and an apparent "manager" sleeping/resting in it? Not sure what was happening there. I question the sanitation of the establishment.

I stopped in here yesterday to get a barbecued chicken sandwich. Before I did, I called about my order. I asked if their chicken sandwich was spicy, since I have a sensitive digestive system. I was told (by the owner, I think) that it was not. Unfortunately, when I got home I discovered this was not the case. After only a few bites, I discovered the chicken was, in fact, very spicy, and the smoke flavor was so overwhelming that I could not taste the chicken at all. Worst of all, I had stomach issues for many hours after eating only a small part of the sandwich.

Needless to say, the owner was not correct in describing the food and I paid a price for it. I think a refund is in order.

We had Big O’s catering in June 2024. Great service and AMPLE servings. Most importantly the BBQ was absolutely amazing! Everyone at our party loved it. Highly recommend, as it’s difficult to find really good BBQ in SE Wisconsin.
