Update: Under new ownership as Route 19 Cafe, my experience won't be having me visit again any time soon. Service was horrible. I had to chase the waitress down to get things that were missed. Not to mention that my food had multiple hairs. Unfortunately, look elsewhere for food.

I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this great restaurant. Well we passed a brilliant evening and the place was absolutely the reason for that strong evening. The waiters contributed in a splendid manner, the food was great and my friends were extremely overjoyed. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

The owner's daughter about 4 years old was running around touching all the dishes after she entered the men's bathroom while an elderly gentleman was using it. To make matters worse the child was holding the door open in freezing weather and snapping a garbage bag around. The owner was making an excuse while I was leaving, something about being short on help ect ect. Keep it up and you will be short on customers. Get a grip on your business, hire a babysitter.

I was there with a large group - there was only one waitress,, and she took care of all of us (and other customers) and was very efficient and smiley and friendly.
Love this place! Great home cooking. Super reasonable prices. Owner and his daughter are very nice people. Cozy restaurant. Stop in as strangers, leave as friends with a full belly!!

Another example of someone who shouldn't have gone into the restaurant business. Roast beef crisper sandwich: (noticed later that roast beef was on special, so that's the way you get rid on your old food) Beef was obviously dry and old--needed au jus or the garbage can--and the swiss cheese was processed; yeah, Wisconsin does that. Too pungent. Waitresses friendly? I think not. Ours didn't even ask how our food was, because she already knew. I volunteered that info at checkout and told her she could adjust her attitude as well. People in Wisconsin are sooo deprived when it comes to restaurants, or simply have no or poor tastebuds...PERIOD.
