Kroghville’s not a place you pass through - it’s a place you drive to on purpose. Off the main road, where the sky opens up wide and time slows down, there’s a little bar that feels like it’s been waiting for you. The KO is built by hand and held together by stories, and there’s a story in every detail - photos on the wall (shout out to Curtis in the bathroom) and artifacts everywhere from a beautiful day.

It’s calm here. Unforced. The regulars are kind, the newcomers are welcome, and no one’s in a hurry. The whole place holds a kind of warmth you don’t find often anymore. It’s the kind of bar that doesn’t need to prove anything - just being there is enough. You'll love this place.

Stopped in for a drink. I would say best bar in Kroghville! Very friendly atmosphere and pretty darn good bloody mary.Mary. I even won .75 cents off the quater machine. Never tried any food so can't rate that.

The nicest bar in kroghville. Jeffery is always great to see. And this bar has a patina that can only be achieved though many, many years of happy customers.

My partner had been here years ago, so we were on the beaten path and stopped in. Only 1 other person besides the outgoing friendly bartender. The place looked the way alot of old taverns in small towns off the beaten path look. The original owners of these types of historic structures basically built a 2 story house with a separate entrance on the lower level for a small tavern. The folks who began trickling in were friendly & open to unfamiliar faces, and we stayed for 2nds to enjoy the laughs and stories. So take a left , drive the "off the beaten path" back roads, and slam on the brakes when you see beers signs, and an American flag in the front parking 'Lawn', and stop in!

There's a bartender down there that can barely count on his own 2 fingers but somehow manages to make drinks and open beer bottles. Good place to stop for one drink. Takes too long to get another one.

Should one drive 30-45 min to go to a Tavern in the middle of Corn Country?Yes, one should.Why?...Authentic, nostalgic and good beverage and food service.Darts, Pool and Uno available as well.
