Offered takeout. Almost portions were larger than expected. All items used in the dishes were fresh and tasted that easy. Definitely would eat in our order takeout from this restaurant.

I wasn't a fan of the fried rice or the Kung pao chicken. I've had better before.
we usually love this place but today when we ordered.... I asked for no breading on both of our entrees and they were both Breaded and undercooked, soggy and mushy, when I called in my order they said they would do no breading on our chicken entrees but it would cost extra which I said was fine. so I paid extra for undercooked Breaded chicken. also missing a fried rice with one of the entrees that we ordered. and to top it off 3 of the 4 fortune cookies had no fortune inside. we will not be returning to bamboo kitchen for food ever again.

Most of the food is great, but they changed the spring and egg rolls at some point. If they go back to the other recipe or get a new one, I will change it to a 5 star on the food. Only problem with the service is that it takes about an hour to deliver the food, but it isn't a problem if you plan ahead.
This my go to place for Asian in Watertown. I appreciate what the owners have done to keep going through Covid. It's not a place to eat in (although you can) but I always just take out. Great hot and sour soup and egg rolls. Chicken Lo Mein is great. Love the chicken sticks. The portions are so generous that I always get 2 meals out of an order.

I use to come here once a week 3 years ago and the food was fantastic but, today I ordered what I always order and the quality unfortunately went down hill. The vegetable lo mein isn't bad but the spring rolls are terrible. The crust is way to thick and they taste store bought and not the good kind. I also bought some crab rangoon and it's just cream cheese no crab at all. The people are nice and the atmosphere not bad but unfortunately the food I use to love no longer exists at bamboo kitchen.

I ended up getting delivery from here hadn’t got any food here in awhile due to all of the messed up orders I’ve received the sweet and sour chicken was soggy you’d think I’d ask for sauce to be put on it and the rice was crunchy not to mention the delivery driver being completely rude this isn’t the 1st time he’s been a jerk either he always beats on my door like an idiot one time he made the comment ” oh you must’ve was scared to open the door thinking, I was the police” I’m over the bamboo kitchen now I won’t be eating from here again
