This restaurant is one of the drawers to the downtown area. It has been a lot of Watertown staple for many years and has a loyal following. You will enjoy meeting friends in this welcoming atmosphere. And yes they make great food.

LOVE this restaurant. True home cooking. Love the nostalgia. Brings back memories when we'd come into town to go shopping then eat lunch here.

I do not know what the allure is about Chalet Restaurant. It is so dirty inside. Restaurants with carpet should be outlawed. Then there is the food - ick! My hamburger was so overcooked that soaking it in water could not rehydrate this patty. The "special seasoning" I paid extra for was nothing more than McCormick's Hamburger Seasoning. The description sounded wonderful and creative, but the reality is that anyone could do better at home with a fry pan on the stove. My fries were cold and my drink was never refilled. The staff was very pleasant. I appreciated their kindness, but it was not enough to overcome the high price for poor food quality.
