I often forget about the tiny gems in this town. After a morning of youth wrestling with my son. We stopped to grab and early lunch at Zwieg's Grill. Luckly they were still serving breakfast so the kids could experience the awesome pancakes. I ordered a burger and fried and was glad I did. Food and Atmosphere were great, but the service was top tier. Carol did a great job managing the dining room with our 3 antsy children, raging with excitement. I hope to return soon to try other items off the menu.Zwieg's Staff, thank you so much for the awesome dining experience. I can't wait to stop back again. I hope you bless this community with many more years of "love". until we meet again.

Zwiegs Grill opened Memorial Day weekend in 1946. It opened my Helen and Grover Zwieg. Glenn, their 2nd child purchased it in the mid 70's and has run it since then with his "Heart on her sleeve" wife. She has been the full-time morning cook for several years and a darn good one at that! They offer actual home cooked meals, the old-fashioned way, made there daily. Fresh patties are used for their burgers from a local butcher. If you are old enough to remember the show ALICE, that is exactly the type of place this is! A diner that is family, all the way down to the regular customers that come in. They say, "Home is where the heart is," and in my case, and many others, this is true..... Thanks for the great memories. Thank you for being my support group for the majority of my life and giving me a place to call home! Get a job you love, and it will never be going to work. It's just going home.... Carol Aka: short stuff, Ditzy and LB.
