We come here often and we don't even love very close! I have had the fish fry (I recommend the perch), the gyros, the chicken pita, and the steak tacos. I have also had one of their salads (I think it was called the Athens). All are absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
Vegetarian options: They have an eggplant pita that is pretty good and the Athens salad. Both are vegetarian. Not sure about other options.
Dietary restrictions: They have several gluten free options though folks that are very sensitive to gluten might want to go elsewhere. Gluten free pitas are available. Thursday tacos are gluten free. So is the fish fry but make sure to specify gluten free or they will include a homemade gluten containing roll.

as far as I know, they continue to get their meats from Knoche’s butchers. Knoche’s provided many hamburger joints with their meat prior to COVID. and then the construction along old Sauk Road resulted in their demise after surviving COVID.!

I love Athens Grill! The food is delicious any fresh. Everyone in a family can find something they will enjoy. It has great vegetarian options. I love the pizza night on Wednesdays. They serve creative and amazing pizzas from Georgios. The Mediterranean grain salad is another favorite. Definitely worth visiting! I keep going back for more.

A very nice place to enjoy a good Gyros and authentic Greek food.
2024 Disappointed in their gyros and take out lately. The gyro plate barely has enough tomatoes and sauce for one gyro (see photo). In the past four times I've gone they've messed up the takeout order twice.
6 years ago... This place is excellent. Staff is friendly, there is a lot of seating and the menu caters to both gyro lovers and others. The bathroom was dirty and the only bad part. I really liked the Gyro Burger, just wish it had tomatoes on it. The Chicken Lemon Soup is unique and good as well.
They have a large TV in the back area. This area can also be closed off for parties. The main seating area has a couple more TVs, regular and raised tables, and the bar. The bar seats around 10.
Their drive thru has a nicely lit, easy to read menu, and by the time I had paid, my food was ready. They make you sign the receipt which was kind of awkward.
They said they're open until 10p on Friday/Saturday, but it depends on how busy it is. They could close early those days or could stay open later.

Worth distance for the fried pitas alone. The flavor they bring is first rate.
Great gyros and fries. The fries used to always be fresh. The only downside is the price plus tip.
Tipping is for actual sit down restraunts.
