Came here while I was staying Waunakee. When we arrived we were greeted and quickly seated. The interior looks modern and appears to be a newer restaurant. When we were seated, our server came up to us and took our drink order. I ordered a lemon drop martini, which came out pretty quickly and tasted great. Their menu has some variety like pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, pastas, etc. We started with the Thai lettuce wraps. They were good, I liked that they separated everything like the cashews, chicken, wontons, etc. It was time to order an entree. We both ordered pizzas. Pizzas came out quickly. I ordered a bacon and pepperoni pizza. It was OK. I got a bunch of fatty pieces of bacon, which wasn't my jam. All in all, it was ok. Will I be back? Maybe.

Vegetarian options: I recommend the Vege-centricity entree. I'm not vegetarian, but I sometimes choose this entree for the flavor and portion size. Very flavorful and the cauliflower/Brussel sprouts are delicious!

Overall was good me and my friend went here and ordered 2 things chicken wings and cheese curds and just saying the curds are the best I ever had and that’s saying something I have had my curds in my time will get again when I come back but I don’t recommend the chicken wings they are not good. and the menu didn’t have any prices so I assumed just getting 2 appetizers would be probably like 15-20 bucks turns out just the two appetizers was $40 which I know you can charge whatever you want but 40 dollars for 2 appetizers is outrageous but apart from the price would highly recommend just don’t order the chicken wings there bad just get all cheese curds you won’t regret it

The food is always fantastic, regardless of menu item! We often carry out, so have limited experiences dining in. We went with friends on a Wednesday evening in February; I'm glad we had reservations because the place was full! Tables are comfortable; we could enjoy conversation: noise level low enough that we could hear each other across the table yet didn't feel like neighboring diners were so close they were part of the conversation. Portions are generous, served hot, and very flavorful; this time we had scallops, waygu burger and mahi at our table. Given how busy it was, service was good. Waitstaff patiently gave us extra time to decide on menu; although after first check-in, didn't come back for at least 20 minutes so we had to flag her down. She did check in once after our meals arrived. Bills were delivered courteously and promptly after we were finished. We find Buck & Honeys hard to beat for a variety of great food in the Madison and surrounding areas.

Yes---we were there for Valentines Day. A little mad there was a special Valentines menu with some of same items but prices jacked up. The food was great as usual. Service was good to but maybe a little slow checking on us. I might have had a second drink but when she gets back we have our food all ready. We love your restaurant but didnt like prices getting raised. If maybe different menu choices for higher prices okay. But same stuff we always get just raised cause of the night.
