Ordered a lemon drop martini and the Chicken Vesuvio. The lemon drop martini was awful, it was pure vodka with no lemon taste at all. The Chicken Vesuvio was so spicy I could barely eat it. This dish is described with no spice at all. When we asked the waitress about it, she said they use paprika and that’s probably why it’s spicy. I have had paprika and this was not from that. The owner came around and we told him about our food being spicy and all he did was thank us for telling him. No what can I do to make it better. This was my first time in the restaurant since new ownership. No intentions on going back and would not recommend this place to others.

Variety on the menu from tasty appetizers to sandwiches to quality dinners. Staff is friendly and provide quality professional service. Top notch bar service at a reasonable price. My favorite to stop when in Waupaca.

We had a group of 10, had to wait a little bit but they put on the Badger game upstairs and ended up having a private dining room. They were out of a couple items but the food and service was great. A lot of favorite items from when it was T-Dubs and some new things too. The old fashions were great too! Highly recommend.

The food was amazing. The server dropped a tray of waters on our table and initially didn’t get splashed but the water was running all over our clothes and pants and we were fairly cold for the remainder of dinner. It didn’t bother us much at all and the server was very apologetic. However, we were pretty surprised they didn’t offer to comp our cocktails or appetizer, anything, they actually never mentioned spilling on us at all. The food was amazing though!

We appreciate good food and small portions...but we ordered the perch from the Friday special menu. There was one small butterfly of perch, just one. I honestly thought it was a mistake. I thought something fell off or it was a kids plate. Cheese curds were yummy! Hubby's glass was warm from the dishwasher so he didn't enjoy his cocktail. Now we know why the bar was empty at 5pm on a Friday. Probably won't return.
Unique food that was fantastic. Shepards pie was delicious! The owner checked in on us and was extremely friendly.

Love this place! Such a great asset for the small town of Waupaca. Charming bar, great service and good food. Really comfortable place to enjoy the evening whether alone at the bar ( even as a single woman) or with friends/family.
