My husband and I decided we wanted fish. The Rose Garden has some of the best beer battered deep fried cod!! The cod pieces are definitely fillets, nice and thick. Never dry. They're made to order too which I love. No heat lamps or pre-made orders. The Cole Slaw sometimes has a bit too much sauce and not enough slaw but it is decent. The fries are always good here. We had salads this time around and I was a little disappointed. There was only one slice of tomato on a bed of salad with quite a few croutons. However, I love croutons but I wish there was maybe a slice or two of cucumber and another slice of tomato.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
I highly recommend this restaurant for the fish fry. They also have a decent full menu and daily specials. Their soup is homemade and delicious! Their prices are reasonable and affordable.
We'll be back!☺️

Came here for breakfast cuz the place we wanted to go to is renovating and this place is a go-to of a friend, but was very disappointed with my meal. Generally, when I go out for breakfast, I have the same thing: 2 sunny-side-up eggs with bacon and white toast. The bacon was cooked beyond recognition (see photo). It looked like two slabs of petrified wood were added to my plate. Usually I'll eat all the meat, even when I'm full, cuz that's the most expensive portion of the meal, but I wouldn't touch these two "things" with a 10ft pole... ?

I waited for about a minute while the server refilled other patrons coffees, then she walked up to me and asked "Can i help you?" I said, "Im here to eat some food" and she said "Oh, ok, choose a table and I'll be right with you." I sit down, order, and the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. She comes up to me while I'm on my phone eating my food, and asks, "Are you doing ok over here?" As if I'm taking too long to eat. The food was phenomenal, even though I got a simple meal of eggs hashbrown and toast. I felt as if I was being rushed, even though the place was almost empty.

Great community though, maybe it was just a bad day. My meal was paid for, and the message left was "Jesus loves you"

The food was all Frozen pre-made stuff thrown together on the grill , nothing fresh . Coffee went empty twice . 4 of us went , none wanna go back .
