Went here to relive my childhood from 25 years ago when we took family vacations to Waupaca. It's everything I had hoped it would be. Huge amount of ice cream in a single scoop, so we shared. They serve Cedar Crest, which is the best!

Super long line moved pretty quickly. The staff members were very friendly and patient. But, not one of them washed their hands after handling money or between patrons. 🤮 Poor hygiene. Food was expensive. $20 for two turtle sundaes. We won’t be going back.

The ice cream is good but the novelty of having massive portions wears off after the first visit. Do you really need to give half a gallon of ice cream on a single scoop cone? At what point is it just wasteful to give so much knowing very well that most customers throw away half of what you give them. I can honestly say I’ve never been there and NOT overheard a group talking about how absurd it is how much ice cream they were given. Hard to support someplace that’s so unnecessarily wasteful.
There is always room for ice cream! ? Be warned, portions are big. We usually get kids or baby scoops, and it's still a lot.

Turtle sundae was great. Only down side was trying to find a parking space.
Kid-friendliness: They have tiny kids cones, but be sure to only get one scoop of ice cream. They also have a couple of arcade games and a small kids merry go round.
