I always love whatever I order from here when I get the chance to stop in for lunch, but a couple of days ago I tried the Fall Harvest Panini , and I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve been thinking about it on and off ever since. It was magic, the perfect balance of flavors in one sandwich. If you haven’t checked this place out yet, you’re missing out. Whether you want to dine in their cozy restaurant or grab something quick to go, it’s absolutely worth the stop.

Overall great experience from the staff and owners being so welcoming! Food is absolutely incredible! We got the “So Gouda” and the roasted pear salad. Both truly had an amazing balance of sweet salty and tartness. Punched the tastebuds so good. We might be back for a day trip just to eat here. This place truly puts a star on Waupaca.

Yum! Found it his place on our way to a wedding and are so glad we stopped! Dined on the patio with Gilbert the sweet pup and enjoyed everything from the lemon water to Tuscan lemon chicken! Every thing was fresh, flavorful and delicious! Highly recommend!

Everything was amazing. The employees were all super nice and attentive, the decor is super cute and their dog friendly dog patio is nice too! They offer water bowls and ropes for the dogs to play with. Definitely will be back again!

I have tried this restaurant before, and I can only say that it keeps getting better each time. I will definitely return in 2025. The chef always surprises with the daily specials; he takes creative risks and achieves very interesting combinations. Discreetly and conveniently located on Main Street in Waupaca, it is 100% recommended. Last, but not least: Amanda is awesome!

Each visit to Sulten Belly feels like witnessing the hone of a true culinary artist. The chef’s skills are constantly sharpening, and it’s clear they are getting better and better with each meal.
This time, we started with the Fiesta Shrimp Salad — a refreshing and slightly spicy dish that struck the perfect balance between crunch and flavor. The grilled shrimp were a standout, with a smoky aroma that almost made you taste the fire in every bite. It’s a dish that truly showcases the chef’s growing mastery of flavors and technique.
Next came the Balsamic Roasted Mushrooms, which were simply perfect. The mushrooms were tender, infused with a rich balsamic glaze that complemented their earthiness beautifully. It’s inspiring to see how the chef continues to refine their craft, creating dishes that are both innovative and comforting.
Throughout our visit, Amanda was as awesome as ever — warm, attentive, and making us feel right at home. Thank you for another wonderful experience. It’s a pleasure to see this restaurant’s culinary skills improve with each visit!

One of my absolute favorite places to eat when I get a chance to visit Waupaca! My go to meal is always the Mac & cheese add chicken! It’s absolutely delicious! You won’t be disappointed by anything on the menu here! 🙂

My wife and I took a little overnight road trip to Waupaca for her birthday. Upon arriving in town we were scoping out the downtown area and looking for a place to have lunch before our check in time at our airbnb. I saw a sign next to the movie theater of a PIG. In my head all I thought was smoked meat. Perfect. The size of the restaurant is about the size of your local tavern. Order at the counter and servers bring out your food. The menu was stacked with choices. I had chosen the smoke tenderloin sandwich and it was so big I took half with us. The Colorado chili was amazing as well. We have already decided to make another trip to the area in the future and will be sure to stop in for lunch here. 5 stars! Oh and don’t forget to buy the crew a shift beer! Cheers!
