As a first time customer, I was highly disappointed. First after sitting down to eat, our waitress was over a few minutes later to take our drink order, but since it was our first time there, we asked for a minute. Well that minute was more like 20 or more. After ordering the waitress brought out the chips and salsa and the order of guacamole (no chips except the 4 they placed on the dish). The salsa had no seasonings and the tomatoes were so underripe that they tasted fishy to me. About 20 minutes later our other food arrived. I had ordered the fajitas, there was no fajita seasonings or salt, just chili powder. The fajitas did not come with any lettuce, cheese, salsa, sour cream or guacamole. And, since we didn't get any chips with our guacamole, we ordered more (she also brought out more salsa without our request). And we were charged for both, which i felt was dishonest since one we didnt get chips the first time around with our guacamole and two we never asked for more salsa. Highly disappointed.

Amazing service, great food, range of delicious American to Mexican dishes. This is a to-do stop when passing nearby. A menu that hits pallets of all types. Friendly staff. Great salsa. Reasonable prices. And portions to get you another tank of gas down the road with a smile!Try the torta, huevos mexicanos w chorizo, even just plain French fries they all meet and exceeded our expectations!

All the food we had was very good. Price ran about $12 a guy with tip. Our server Dana was very kind and helpful. The burritos fell apart a little bit but highly recommend. Over All, great food and great people.

This was a good find. They have a large menu with many options. They even have Friday fish fry specials. I wanted a mexican dish, and I was not disappointed. I got the mixed fajitas. My buddy got the tostadas. He got free chips and salsa with his tortas. The salsa was homemade and had a good kick to it. Overall, it was a good experience. The food and service was good. They have a Mexican grocery store inside here, too! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes, too!

Love the food at this place all the time but noticed that the ceiling vents are extra dirty and would be great if they could clean them on off hours. I imagine a chunk falling in my food. Please, please address this.

Last night my husband and I took our 4 children to dinner. We ordered a non alcoholic mangoniada drink. We were served one WITH TEQUILA. We did not realize until AFTER our 15 year old, 10 year old and 10 month old tried it! They served alcohol to our children! When we told our waitress she laughed. And then still tried to make us pay for the drink when we left. Did we receive an apology? No

Nice little Mexican and American family food restaurant. Lots of things to choose from. Food is decent. Margaritas and service could be better.

The food and service were good but have to be in guard for so many hidden charges. Was charged $1.49 for choosing rye toast with my breakfast. I was told when I went to pay it's in the menu but I didn't see it. It's $1.49 extra for rye, raisin, sourdough and English muffin. I've never heard of such a thing and i think we should have been told upon ordering. I Have to pay for chips and salsa before 11 even tho a $12 burrito was ordered. I know there are other extra charges because they got me once before last Spring. Just be really careful or prepared to pay more than you think for what you order. I think I'll stick with El Charro in Berlin.

This was the worst service I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. The waitress was rude from the very beginning. She was upset because I wanted a new water as there was black stuff floating in it. Got my order wrong and would not do anything to make it better. Will not be back here!!!!

El Popo is the best Mexican restaurant I have ever been too. I am from Philadelphia and have been to various Mexican restaurants around that city and metropolitan area, but out of every place I have tried, El Popo has the most delicious and authentic tacos I have ever had. This restaurant not only has incredible, fresh, authentic Mexican food, but they also have many options for all taste buds. The service is always so wonderful and everyone on the staff is great. We come all the way out here from Philadelphia just for these tacos! I want to recommend the tacos al pastor- they are 100/10!! Delicioso!
