Drove from the Madison area and it was definitely worth the drive! My wife and I shared a couple two meat plates and every meat was great. I love smoked meats that have a prominent smoke flavor with a good flavorful rub. The brisket was amazing with great bark, a good smoke ring, eye tender, and moist. The burnt ends were slightly dry in texture, but the flavor and sauce were awesome. The ribs were fantastic. Smoke flavor and tenderness was top notch. Pulled pork could’ve used a bit more smoke flavor, but it was super tender and moist, so I can’t find any real fault there. The sides we tried were great! I had the grits and greens, and my wife had the cornbread as well as the Mac and cheese. Service was quick despite it being rather busy when we were there. Good thing I don’t live closer, because I’d be broke and much heavier than I already am. I will be back, though.

They have made so many wonderful updates to the restaurant. The staff is amazing, and we love the brisket and Texas twinkies. The music during the summer is great as well. Wonderful atmosphere.

Mediocre BBQ, for those reviews saying it rivals the best bbq around the country must have had some bad bbq. Upon entry, nice place, plenty of seating, very friendly staff. I had to 2 meat plate, burnt ends and pulled pork. Burnt ends were cut way to big and therefore extremely dry and hard(not bbq bark but hard). The pulled pork was basic. I also had two sides, the mac and cheese, coleslaw. The mac and cheese was cold and literally like sheet rock mud consistency(very pasty). Coleslaw was great. For small town Wisconsin it may be worth the stop. Definitely not a destination place. Can't say I would stop again.

In the area today as the daughter recently moved to Wautoma, she recommended stopprng here. Worthwhile stop, had the brisket, ribs, mac and cheese, and beans. We'll be stopping next time! Great food, fast service, and ample portions, as we have enough for another meal.

The BBQ beef as always was excellent. The beans had been the best I have tasted anywhere but are no longer that good; have apparently been cost-reduced. The beans are ok with a meal but no longer worth the asked price for a take-home container.

After having driven by many times over the years on my way through the area, I finally stopped and was very glad I did. Has one of their Cranberry Mule special drinks (cranberry harvest week) at the bar before heading over to the food counter where I ordered a two meat, two side plate with smoked jalapeno cheddar sausage, burnt ends, corn bread and baked beans. Simply outstanding and will now be my go-to place for BBQ during the months they are open. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and the restaurant has a retro rustic country vibe to it. Highly recommended.

first time visiting, very casual atmosphere, you can either dine in or take out. nice little seating inside or outside on patio. on the side of bldg, people wee playing corn hole, and they have live music which is adverized.I ordered the brisket with mac n cheese and potato salad. my son ordered ribs, mac n cheese, and coleslaw. Everything was very good, he raved about the ribs, no bbq sauce, but a rub which we prefer. i had the brisket very tender and smokey.we will be vack to try all variations.

KRB's has very good barbecue. They have pulled pork, beef brisket, and some chicken. Three yummy barbecue sauces, and lots of side dishes for your meal. Their macaroni and cheese, jalapeno cheesy grits, bread pudding, and banana pudding are all wonderful. There is often music outside. There is a dog friendly outdoor dining area. Bathrooms are clean. The bar and bartenders are great. The drink specials are yummy and creative. Our Sundays special was a blueberry muel.Parking is decent. I would and have recommended this restaurant to friends.
