Had an appetizer of boneless wings 8.50 on the menu, charged 9.50. When I brought it up, she looked like I was crazy.
They asked what sauce we wanted with our wings. Then we were charged an additional .75 cents. When asked, she said sauce isn't included even though I pointed out on the menu it didn't say that. (Sauce choices were right with the wings)
Ordered a small pizza, half mushrooms. They bring out a large, and we were charged for the large. No rhyme or reason to the mushrooms. I had to pick thru pizza to find pieces without, and even had to pick some off. YUCK! When she asked how our food was, I showed her all the ?. Never took anything of the cost of the pizza.
Not going back there again!

Nice little stop for a quick beer. The beers unfortunately were not very cold at least on our stop they weren't they were killed but they weren't ice cold.

The food was good. The service was good. However, on Tuesdays they advertise half off pizzas. When you get your bill it's half off a cheese pizza and you get charged full price for additional toppings like sausage and onions and mushrooms. Basically bringing the price close to normal price for this pizza. This is basically false advertising and will not go back. A shame as the pizza was very good.

Today 9/1/2024 my family & I went to the trading post for lunch. I will admit they were busy . While waiting for our food I noticed every time the kitchen staff brought out food they had to ask the customers if this was their order. So when our order came for 6 people the same thing happened after all of our food arrived I mentioned to our waitress they should put numbers on the tables so they would know where to go with the food. The next thing I know is our waitress's mother comes out & says sir while you are enjoying your weekend we are doing our best to serve you very snooty like. Then after that we didn't get any service until we were done eating. Then the waitress brought out a few boxes & the bill . Our bill was $127.27 & I paid $150.00 with tip even though my wife & kids only wanted to leave a $5.00 tip. My point is this all I tried to do is help them out with a suggestion. I don't care what her problem was today but a paying customer should never be talked to that way by the staff. With the amount of people there today the waitress's should have made a killing in tips . But treating customers like we were treated will stop us from coming back!!!!

Fish fry was really tasty and the spotted cow was so fresh I think they actually might have had a cow out back to tap right into. I'd go bak here for sure. The pretzel is easily the largest pretzel in wisconsin and could feed an entire starving village in Indiana for days.

I used to enjoy going to the Trading Post. When my kids and grandkids would visit, a trip to the Trading Post wad a must. Now I would not take them there. They have someone working there now who had a very foul mouth, and drops the F bomb during his talking to his buddies. Don't know if the new owner is aware that this is happening. All I can say is that I will not patronize this business if he continues to work there. I know that I am not the only one who recognizes the problem. We used to love going there for pizza and Friday night fish fry, but will no longer go there. I hope that the owner sees this post and addresses the problem or they will not be in business to much longer.

I've always enjoyed going to the trading post but its going down hill. Tonight we watched orders get put in after us and served before us. Waited 50 minutes for wings and French fries. Then the prices on the bill came out more expensive than the menu, on top of it was charged extra for having boneless wings tossed only to get the wings home open them up and they were never tossed. No apologies for bringing up false advertised prices or long wait.
Great place to get a drink, watch a game, or have a quick meal. Limited pub menu and appetizers available every day/night.Can bring whole family, although the evenings can get busy and loud, which is great, if that is what you are looking for.Thursday evenings, there is a meat raffle and additional prizes to be won. This is a fun time.About once every 4-6 weeks, there is fantastic Kareoke. We really enjoy these events, and and many more at "The Post."The owners, Tim and Robin, in take part in most activities and are wonderful.I highly recommend it!
