We got a cake from here for a birthday, the flavors sounded incredible, and the presentation was great. However the cake was way too dry, it was hard to eat with a fork even. We ordered the cake on a Sunday and picked it up on a Wednesday. It seemed like the cake was made before we ordered it because of how dry it was. My wife and I were really bummed out.

Lovely little bakery with tasty treats. Service was prompt and friendly. My family enjoyed various cookies and blondies (I particularly enjoyed the small plain butter cookies - simple and delicious). Parking was a little tricky, but there are street spots. GPS was also incorrect and indicated the bakery was south of Harmonee (no fault of the business, and I still found it pretty easily, just a heads up for anyone using Waze).

We ordered from C Adams/Black Twig Bakery for our wedding desserts, and would recommend them to anyone for an event, or just a sweet treat! The process for ordering for an event was easy, and Chelsea made things smooth and simple. We were able to order something that wasn't on their catering menu, but they require you to order 2 dozen or more of an item if doing that, which wasn't an issue. We got an assortment of desserts; vanilla cupcake w/ almond buttercream, chocolate cupcake w/ salted caramel buttercream, their fall/winter gingerbread cupcake, oreo and funfetti cake pops, brownie bites, chocolate chip cookies and snickerdoodle cookies. Everything was delicious, and the pick up process was easy!

Omg...the flourless dark chocolate walnut & chocolate chunk cookies were AMAZING!! Good thing this bakery is not in my neighborhood..too dangerous!
Not much of a sample size since all I purchased were blondie bars — rich, thick, soft chocolate chunk cookie bars with a creamy swirl of salted caramel frosting on top. They were wonderful and had no hint of anything artificial. The packaging options, however, were not good. The choice was either a clear plastic clamshell-style box or a thin brown cardboard box with a huge, thick plastic film window across the top. As with pasta boxes, plastic film windows in any form of food boxes are ridiculously unnecessary and will be here forever.

We ordered 3 flavors of cupcakes (vanilla, german chocolate & carrot) and 2 flavors of macarons (strawberry and lemon) and vanilla iced sugar cookies that were iced absolutely perfect for a baby shower. They went above and beyond & our guests gave so many compliments to how tasty and cute everything was. Definitely don't hesitate to place an order, small or large, they won't disappoint!
