Lovely staff and cheap American Chinese food

We've been getting our Chinese food here for upwards of 20 years. Tonight we ordered crab rangoons, chicken on a stick, spare ribs, sesame chicken, beef and broccoli, and chicken fried rice. Everything was disappointing: flavorless, fatty, chewy, old. My daughter could not even bite into her rubbery crab rangoon. Inedible. Truly hope this was a fluke.
Update: because it was all so bad across the board from the very first bite, my daughters convinced me to return the food and ask for a refund, which the restaurant (begrudgingly) agreed to. Stars adjusted for responsiveness.

I have never been so disappointed with Chinese food! This it's white rice with frozen vegetables and white shrimp! No flavor. The bag didnāt even have soy sauce sweet and sour, no napkinsā¦. Horrible and if I didnāt live so far away I would have taken it back.

I've been here quite a few times now. There a days when the food tastes wonderful. Like the eggplant dish is tender, and the sweet and sour chicken has a nice crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. Other days it can be dry or even some dishes being too watery.
