Beautiful old room with high ceilings, creaky wood floors. Tastefully shabby.
Counter service only. But you can order ahead on web or by phone, avoid the lines and the wwit. But, if you don’t order ahead, well worth the wait

Absolutely disgusting. Flies were all over the donuts crawling and flying around the trays like it was normal. You could literally see them on the food. Super unsanitary and just nasty. What’s worse is when my friend emailed them, they basically said they can’t do much about it because people come in and out too often. 😐 Like huh?? That’s your excuse for flies chillin’ on your pastries? Now my friend has no place to get her vegan doughnuts.

Great place with tons of choices and they even have vegan donuts. Didn’t love the cold brew but I also ordered it really close to closing time. Nothing a little oat milk can’t fix.

I didn’t actually go into the store but a coworker brought donuts into work and gotta say made the start of day to be a delicious one. Recommend the peanut butter apple fritter or the cinnamon roll muffin it was spot on.

We used cranky Al’s for our wedding and we got SO many compliments! They were delicious even later into the evening, the tasting was amazing, communication was great, and they were very transparent about pricing which seems to be difficult to find in the wedding industry. This is the go-to place if you want donuts for your Milwaukee area wedding!!

5 stars for the neighborhood. I love tosa. But I came here and expected to be wowed. Instead, I was like "huh" purchased one donut only for my daughter because nothing stood out to me. I'm big on presentation and crankys failed there.
