My daughter and son in law dined here last night , celebrating his 40th birthday. Although they said the food was wonderful, ( and should be for $110 steak a la carte) they were in and out in 55 minutes and felt rushed the whole time. They were NOT offered a dessert menu, so left without any sort of birthday cake. Although in my mind it is customary for waiters to generally ask if people are there to celebrate anything in particular, this was not the case. Since they went on MY recommendation I felt compelled to write this review. I have NEVER done any fine dining in 55 minutes!!!! I plan to share this review with my peers, who are of the age when this kind of dining is more frequent. They can definitely find places with better service .

We went to dinner here tonight for my friend's 50th birthday and unfortunately the service was quite lacking. It all started with us getting seated and when asking us for our drink order we were never offered a drink or wine menu which seemed a bit odd. After receiving our drinks we sat for an uncomfortable amount of time waiting for menus to look at. When we did eventually get to order my friend whose birthday it was requested no onion ring or chives on his steak. When we received our entrees guess what was on his steak? They took the steak away to make a replacement and although it did not take very long to bring a new steak, they forgot to bring his mashed potatoes. Towards the end of dinner we noticed, after looking around at the other tables, that the waiter never gave us our bread. Perhaps bread would have made the long wait for our menus more tolerable. The waiter apologized for everything that had gone wrong but what's done was done. What should have been a very special birthday dinner for our friend was marred with disappointing service and a lack of attention to detail. The only reason I gave even two stars tonight was that the food was all very good.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible experience. I made a reservation 5 days in advance for my wife’s birthday. We showed up for our reservation and they told us they did not have it in the book. I can understand that mistakes happen but the real problem was how rude the manager was. As soon as he came out he was very aggressive, rude, and insulting. He shouted at us that they did not have a table for us because we were not in the book. I showed him my call history that showed I had called to make a reservation 5 days prior. He said "I’ve never heard your name,” too bad you are not in the book. You would think they would have apologized and offered us a seat at the bar while we waited, or a reservation for the following weekend, something. Instead he caused a scene and shouted at me. Most insulting experience I’ve had at any restaurant in my entire life. I will never eat here again.

The special... wagyu beef was unbelievable . . . but it was the apps that made it all that much better! The seafood tower ... prawns were amazing! The escargot ... even none (snail) eaters, loved it! The creamed corn was amazing. The mixologist was phenomenal.

I was celebrating so I stopped over without reservations to see if I could get in and I was given a choice of the bar or a small table up front so I chose the small table, I didn't stop at a fine dining restaurant to eat at the bar. They were busy and my server did a great job. I started with a whiskey old fashioned sour which was good. I ordered the baked burgundy onion soup and the veal scallopini because I love veal. The place is nice looking with a bar as you walk in. The baked burgundy onion soup was very good and looked amazing. There was a whole piece bread on top covered in a heap of melted cheese which washed boiling hot like most places so you could eat it right away. The veal scallopini was thin, lightly breaded on top of a lemon saffron risotto with a citrus cognac sauce topped with a leafy green and capers. The veal scallopini looked amazing and smelled delicious. The risotto was delicious with thin cross sliced asparagus which gave a nice crispy texture vs soft risotto. The veal was tender and delicious lightly breaded and not greasy after the pan fry. Overall this was a nice place for a good meal and a cocktail but I would recommend reservations because it was bar only for some walk ins and even the bar ended having a wait list.

I remember, not too long ago, that Eddie's was the place to go for lunch or dinner. Dark, clubby atmosphere, excellent food, exceptional service, smart, friendly bartenders. What the heck happened? Now, Eddie Martini's is no longer open for lunch, the waitstaff is more interested in turning the table than taking care of the customers at hand, and the food is more typical of what you might find at the steam tables of some local grocery stores.I had a very typical wedge salad, nothing special, followed by some very bland, rare (ordered medium) lamb chops. My wife had a very bland (that word again) piece of salmon smothered in a too sweet glaze. We ended with the dessert trio-bread pudding (a bit runny), cake (store bought?), creme brulee (decent). Twice during dessert, the waitstaff started removing the desserts while I was still eating and even brought the bill on her second attempt. So much for a relaxing dinner, we were out the door in another 10 minutes. One salad, 2 entrees, one dessert, 3 drinks, $205.00 including tip.I get that many restaurants are still trying to catch up after everything that's happened these past few years, but maybe you should go back to what worked. Treat us like guests that could be anywhere else, but chose to be here, feed us food that you're proud of, make us happy to be sitting at your table.

Very underwhelmed. The bacon in the Brussels sprouts was undercooked. Asked for medium rare and I received my veal raw. Service used to be impeccable. Very different now.

Great steaks and a wonderful old style steakhouse feel. It has been a few years since I was there. We'll have to plan going there in the future.

Mara and Gabby gave us excellent service. We love this place. We ordered their escargot. Never had such an excellent presentation with incredible flavors including pine nuts. It was enough for a dinner and super inexpensive. Dan and

Servers were really friendly and accommodating, but there was a lapse between soup, salads and our meal that was way longer than it should have been. Food was priced comparably to similar restaurants and meals. Everyone who had steaks enjoyed them. The seafood pasta was so insanely rich it was just too much to eat more than a side amount. Scallops were cooked perfectly but the curry and other flavors in the scallop meal were so mild, was hoping for more. Desserts were nice but nothing exciting. Disappointed with the spinach salad too, cheese did not make sense on that dish and didn't notice much needed onions.

Fine food and fantastic staff make this staple of the area an acclaimed place to go and they even get better with age! One of the best celebration diners with customer care that is exceptional. Treated like a King and Queen! Fabulous time last night, Saturday, Dec. 16 with Mara - the ultimate server - thanks so much for making our birthday and Christmas get together special. Thanks to Eddie Martini's for continuing the top notch experience with a great selection of different fish, beef and fine options. Woot, woot - experience - (the Manhattan was soooooooo good).
