Fiddleheads Coffee Wauwatosa

The space is great, especially on a nice day. There is extensive patio space both on the ground level and upstairs. It is also open later than most coffeeshops in the area which almost all close at 5 PM. The coffee and food were fine, but nothing special. I would come back for the work space on a nice day.

Great service even while visibly understaffed. Shout out to the two working today - you did an awesome job. Tumeric chai late was nice. The outdoor seating is great - sunny and shaded options. Multiple levels. Theres a limited parking lot.

Just had an uncomfortable experience. My wife and I ordered two hot mochas, and were given iced mochas. Not a big deal or problem at all. While we were waiting for the correction, my wife and I were listening to one of the workers complain the entire time talking about us negatively and then was rude when handing us the coffee. Things happen, its not a big deal, but I want you to know that customers can hear you and that did not make us feel good. For the amount of $$ we spend and how many other nice coffee shops are around here we might not be back. For the record, not that it should matter... but we ordered the campfire mocha, hot, with an extra shot of espresso. Thats the only way we've ever ordered mochas before.

Nice coffee shop and service was awesome but the sandwiches are SMALL for how expensive they are. I ordered the Turkey Gouda sandwich, it was $13, and it was just two slices of plain wheat bread with barely any meat, cheese or sauce. Very disappointing, sandwiches should be half the price for what we get.

Really cute place to have brunch at. There is reasonable space for parking and plenty of outdoor seating. I only wish they had more shaded areas as their outdoor tables are metal and get quite hot in the sun. The food was good but would have been better if the bread on my melt was toasted more than a slight crisp.

We ordered two sandwiches and a standard size iced mint/vanilla coffee (seasonal special). The total came out to $35 pre-tip (tax included), and with tip the total was over $40. The cashier was very friendly and kind, but you get a beeper to let you know when your order is ready and you clear your own table. The coffee and food were yummy, but way too small for the price. The sandwiches are just normal sandwich bread size (like from the grocery store) cut in half with not much filling and a bag of chips- $13 for that is kinda crazy.

Overall, food and atmosphere are nice but the prices are super high for what you get (especially for the food and level of service), so we won’t be back. For only a few dollars more, you can go to a casual sit-down restaurant.

I went to fiddleheads this morning and was shocked at the prices. A turkey and egg croissant was over $12. The cold brew was over $5. In the end I spent $19 on an egg sandwich and a coffee. WOW! It’s a nice place but holy cow! I will certainly choose somewhere else in the future.
