We are beyond grateful for the incredible team at Gracious Events who brought our daughter’s wedding day to life with absolute perfection. From start to finish, they executed every detail of the day with absolute perfection. They handled everything—catering, florals, and event coordination, and did so with professionalism, creativity, and care. The communication throughout the planning process was exceptional. We had countless virtual meetings, a full menu tasting, and several on-location design meetings. Leading up to the big day, especially during the week of the wedding, the team was exceptional. We always felt informed, supported, and heard. Marija was an absolute dream to work with on florals and other design details. She listened so carefully to every detail we shared and brought our vision to life more beautifully than we could have imagined. The arrangements were breathtakingly stunning, fresh, and perfectly matched the style and atmosphere of the venue. Guests are still talking about how beautiful everything looked! As for the catering, it was flawless and also a highlight of the evening. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly timed with the flow of the evening served right on time. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and made us and our guests feel truly cared for. Guests raved about the delicious hors d'oeuvres, entree selections, and desserts! Bella was exceptional as our coordinator. Her communication throughout the planning process was spot on, and we felt completely supported every step of the way. She kept the rehearsal and wedding days running right on schedule and made sure no timeline detail was missed. Her communication with our vendors, wedding party, and families was clear, calm, and incredibly professional — every timeline was not only met but managed so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy the day without stress. It’s rare to find a company that excels in every aspect of a wedding, but Gracious Events truly did. Their attention to detail, impeccable organization, and warm, responsive communication made all the difference. They created a magical day for us to remember! We feel incredibly lucky to have had them as part of our daughter’s wedding day. Highly, highly recommend!

I work with the fabulous woman at Gracious a few times a season as a wedding photographer. I’m always blown away by their food at every wedding I’ve done with them(and I’ve had my fair share of wedding food over the years). They are truly the best in Milwaukee! You won’t be disappointed! They do beautiful floral work as well. Truly so talented!

Holy crap was this food incredible. Like, our wedding dinner tasting was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. Vesna and Bella were an absolute joy to work with, and the food was somehow even better on wedding day than at the tasting. How they made food taste that good from the field behind a barn with no kitchen I have no idea, but it was literally all anybody could talk about at our wedding. Every single person said it was the best wedding food they've ever tasted by far, and I could not agree more. They also brought out individual plates for folks with food allergies or dietary restrictions, which doesn't seem like that shocking of a thing to do, but its one of the only times I've seen it done at a catered wedding. Multiple guests specifically mentioned how much they appreciated that. Would absolutely recommend Gracious to anyone. I wish I had more of an appetite on my wedding day, because I would kill to have more of their food! I also wish I had more photos of the food, because aside from tasting incredible, it also looked incredible! Not to mention the giant strawberry shortcake they made us as our cutting cake!

Gracious events is one of if not the best caterer we could have asked for. Vesna helped us implement our vision for our wedding's style. Their food is very delicious and many of our guests were asking if they could buy food directly from them.

They were gracious enough to let us incorporate some of my family's culture into the menu by using my family's recipe for Kalbi. Would highly recommend these guys for anyone looking to have a wedding in the Milwaukee area, they really went all out for us!

We had Graciously Great cater our welcome party for our wedding. The food was AMAZING. Chef Moseley was professional, timely and easy to communicate with. The elote and guacamole is absolutely delicious, I have been craving it ever since!! Would highly recommend and will use again!!!

Gracious events planed and carried out my daughters wedding from start to finish at Villa Terrace seamlessly!!! They were absolutely phenomenal to work with. The wait staff was incredibly courteous and attention to detail was on point! This was our fourth daughter getting married so we have had many experiences and they were hands down amazing!! Bella was on top of making the experience perfect…she is so kind and made us feel so comfortable! Marija’s planning and vision was carried thru to the big day! I cannot say how appreciative we are for their talents! Perfect day!!!

Our tasting with Vesna and Bella was so delicious and she even sent us home with the leftovers. She was so responsive to all of my emails and phone calls whenever I had questions throughout the year, and calmed all of my worries. I always felt like she would have things handled and take care of it. When it came to the rehearsal and the day of, we payed extra for a day-of coordinator. I can't stress enough how this was worth every dime. Bella took charge of our whole rehearsal and got us through quickly and efficiently. She was so fun to be around and had everything completely under control. She was so impressive to watch! The day of the wedding, she was always nearby to calm my nerves and I had full trust that everything was taken care of by her. Her and Vesna and the rest of the gracious team brought my vision to life and created my dream table decor, cake decorating, details tables, and the literal most gorgeous flowers I have every seen in my entire life. I could not have imagined my wedding any other way. The entire day went so smoothly with zero hiccups, and even more beautiful than I could have dreamed. My husband and I worked with Marija and Gracious Events for our wedding in November 2022 and had an amazing experience. Gracious catered the dinner and created a delightful fall menu, leaning into seasonal flavors per my vision. The meal was elegantly served family style, which was a hit among guests. I received so many compliments on the food, even from the toughest of critics!Gracious also provided the florals for our wedding, and again exceeded expectations. I shared a pretty vague vision of wanting "moody fall colors" and the end result was perfectly that. Marija was receptive to my many calls and requests and helped me maximize my budget while executing my vision.Overall, prices were on the higher end among the quotes that I received, but I definitely felt like this was a "get what you pay for" situation and was so glad I worked with Gracious. Highly recommend!

Just from reading the reviews and seeing photos, we knew that Marija would be amazing, and she was. We were blown away. The flowers were of such high quality and the food loved by all. When people comment on our wedding, the food and flowers are always mentioned. Marija listened carefully and was incredibly patient in finding out exactly what we wanted. In short, she exceeded our expectations and is some kind of genius with food and flowers. Second only to deciding to get married, the best decision we made in planning our wedding was hiring Marija.

Absolute perfection! We used Gracious Events as our caterer for our wedding on 9/10/2022 at St. James 1868.They were recommended to us by the St. James team. Marija worked with us and was so communicative and easy to work with. The Gracious team treated us like we were family. We had our tasting and was blown away at the quality of ingredients and curated menu. They learned about us as a couple and what our likes and dislikes were and made a menu to fit us. At the wedding, our guests gave us many compliments on the food, some saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had. (We agree, worth every penny.)I loved how much they cared about us during the process and at the wedding. They were so kind to make us a plate of hors d’oeuvres at our cocktail hour so we can have enjoy our food. That to me, shows how much they care about their clients. They also made sure we got to eat our full dinner without interruption. My other vendors mentioned how kind and helpful they were and really enjoyed working them. Consider yourself lucky if you are able to book them because they will make your wedding day or event impeccable. Forever grateful for Marija and the Gracious Team!

Gracious Events is exceptional at what they do! Their staff is professional, experienced, and most importantly, fun to work with. We would highly recommend Gracious Events to any couple looking for the best service in the Milwaukee area!

We used Gracious for catering, floral design, and coordination of our daughter’s 9/4/21 wedding at St. James 1868. Marija, Vesna, Bella and their staff were truly our “dream team,” helping to create the romantic, fairytale wedding we had envisioned! They always made us feel like we were their only clients.. which is quite a feat considering the number of events they do and the number of years they’ve been in business (25 I think!).The food prepared by Gracious was outstanding, even when scaled up to 175 guests! It wasn’t just good wedding food…our guests commented that it was on par with top restaurant food anywhere in the country! Marija helped us create a menu with a nod to the groom’s New Orleans roots, and the bride’s desire to have a vegan option. We chose to offer a late night snack before the guests left, and let me just say, if you ever get a chance to try the sticky Buffalo chicken slider prepared by Gracious, don’t pass it up!The floral design was incredibly important to both me and my daughter. Gracious spent a lot of time helping us to develop our vision, recommending specific flowers, and creating a plan that took advantage of the beautiful setting offered in the St. James1868 venue. I was especially impressed the morning of the wedding when Vesna stopped by the bridal suite with a sample bridesmaid bouquet to be sure it was perfect before she created the remaining 8 bouquets. She did the same with the bridal bouquet, which you can see in the photos below was perfection!Many of my friends have commented on what a stressful day their weddings were. I can honestly say our day was stress free and a joy from beginning to end! Much of that had to do with the professionalism and experience brought by Gracious and their staff. Gracious is a wonderful and thoughtful team of catering professionals. Their attention to detail, refined taste and impeccable service sets them apart in Milwaukee. I have had the pleasure of working with them at St. James 1868 on multiple events and not only have they delivered on all food and beverage elements, but they exceeded expectations and always brought a wow factor to both taste and appearance. With individualized private catering and a lovely Tosa restaurant I know I will always recommend Gracious as my number one choice in gastro needs.
