Just wanted to shout out the lovely individual (and I forgot to get her name!) who helped me last minute find an ice cream cake for my husband's birthday which happened to be a few days after father's day. I had called on Thursday before Father's Day and she said Joy couldn't take any more cake orders because they were slammed with cake requests for father's day. But she recommended checking the case at Little Village Play Cafe, and sure enough they had a couple, even one of the flavors I had been hoping to order! On top of Joy's employee being so helpful, the ice cream cake was AMAZING, my husband confirmed it was better than any he'd had from anywhere else. Thanks Joy!

If I could give Joy Ice Cream more than 5 stars I would! We have a 2.5 year old that frequently requests, “Joy ice cream shop.” The magic of his delight when we pull up to the one-of-a-kind Joy Ice Cream is a memory we will forever cherish.
The flavors are constantly rotating and the house made waffle cones are truly the best we’ve ever had. Liz is always coming up with new flavors and combos to keep things interesting.
If you’re looking for a unique ice cream experience, look no further!

We couldn't love Joy Ice Cream more! One of my kids has a dairy allergy, so it is an immediate win that every time we go there are DF and delish ice cream options he can have. The staff is always friendly and just a treat to interact with. The owner is always coming up with new and fun ideas! Just the other day we found one of the tables had been turned into a craft station and the kids loved it. I also enjoy hopping over for the fun community events they host - concerts, markets, and such. The neighborhood is so lucky they opened up such an amazing space where there was just an abandoned gas station! Make sure you take time to pop inside to look at the sweet tiles, and design work in there LOVE. Grateful for this community space.

There has never been a more appropriately named ice cream shop! My family and I love this Tosa gem and the childhood memories it creates for our kids. Delicious ice cream, fresh made waffle cones, great drink selection and adorable, plentiful patio seating. A must-visit if you're in the area!

We were gifted 1 scoop tokens and finally made it to Joy Ice Cream Social to cash them in. We were given a generous scoop of some really nice ice cream - it was delicious and the place is soooo cute. Only as we were leaving did we hear someone order the ice cream flight!!!! 1. Brilliant 2. I can't believe we missed it 3. We'll be back for that flight. Definitely check it out.
