Amazing bread, soups, etc. Love the seating area and their take-out options! The servers are always super nice, and for a small room, the inside is never crammed!

The rustic vegetable soup + BLT is perfect. The tomatoes on the BLT are so good that every other restaurant in the milwaukee area should be ashamed of their tomatoes.

They just never served me after I ordered.

I treated myself to lunch the other day at Loup in Tosa - so good! The space is warm and welcoming. I was able to sample a soup before ordering it - very helpful! I went with a spicy chorizo soup, which was delicious, paired with with the Pesto Mozzarella "Sammich" - fresh Mozzarella, Pesto, Heirloom Tomato, Baby Spring Lettuce, and Balsamic Glaze on a Toasted French Roll. It came with a side of veggies and dip. I grabbed a seat at the counter overlooking the street and they brought out my food as soon as it was ready. Everything was warm, the portions were generous (I took half of my sandwich home), and the food was delicious! The prices are on the higher side, but you're getting generous portion sizes and high quality ingredients. I stuck with water but there is a nice selection of beverages and some local treats for dessert available. They also have prepackaged soups in a cooler with a variety of sizes and flavors available to take to go. I'll be back to try a flight of soups or another tasty soup & sammie combo!

Truly such an amazing lunch spot. Their BLT is to die for and every soup tastes like it is straight from your grandmas kitchen!

I am new to the area and tried Loup for the first time. The restaurant is bright and clean and the service is fantastic. The sweet clerk offered me a tasting of the Beer cheese soup and I was immediately addicted. The fresh bread that accompanied the soup was amazing as well. I'm so excited to go back and try all of their fresh soups and sandwiches.

Absolutely obsessed with their sandwiches. Simple but quality! They serve Wisconsin Soup Company soup and have a freezer with quarts ready to go as well.

Loup has spine delicious soup! I picked up some frozen quarts of soup, a cookie, and a cup of the mushroom barley soup. It was so flavorful and hearty. The soup comes with soft fresh bread and butter. The employees were very helpful and friendly. I tried the red pepper Gouda frozen soup and with definitely be back for it! I grabbed a quart of cream of mushroom as well. Both reheated well and tasted fresh!

For a place that only serves soup and sandwiches, I’d expect the quality of both to be far better. The turkey on the sandwich was basically dollar store lunch “meat”, the ciabatta was a flavorless foam, and the beer cheese soup was a blend of flavor modifiers, starches, and preservatives. Check out the ingredient list on it in my pic.

I was craving good hot soup on a cooler day when I was just feeling blue and with Soup Bros closed, I have been looking for a replacement and I honestly think Loup may be it! It's not as quirky as Soup Bros, but the food is just so good! I ordered an herb crusted grilled cheese sandwich with a cup of the tomato bisque. All of their sandwiches come up with a cup of soup of your choice and some veggies with dip. On the online order there were also options to add extras. One of the extras was adding free onions to your sandwich, which I chose. Unfortunately I did not get any onions on my sandwich, but that was literally the ONLY fault in an otherwise superb lunch.I picked up my meal and everything was packed very neatly and thoughtfully. Everything was still hot when I got home and was ready to eat. The herb crusted bread for the sandwich truly MAKES the sandwich. I could eat this bread forever, I wish they sold it. The soup was hot and fresh. Dipping the sandwich into the soup was the medicine for the blues I needed that day. The veggies was a carrot, celery stick, radish, and cucumber slice.I think it may be a little overpriced for essentially a sandwich and soup, but I will order it over and over again because I think it's so worth it for the quality of the food. The staff was super pleasant when I went to go pick up my food. They also have a freezer stocked with frozen soup and lots of vegetarian options on their fresh and frozen menu!

Workers were sweet. Soup was yummy. Sandwich was yummy. I love the ham they used. The wait for the food was pretty quick and it was at a good hot temperature not boiling just perfect enough to warm you up. I had a good time. Definitely coming back.

They need more staff, more equipment, and a more efficient process. I waited an hour for one bowl of soup. I finally had to ask for it to go because I was late for a meeting and I was given the wrong order. There are at most two people working during lunches and with a line to the door, there are also to go orders and large company orders coming in. The staff tried so hard but with ONE oven to cook the sandwiches, it’s obvious that things will get backlogged. The person at the register also shouldn’t have to run the food to the tables. The food is always so good and the staff is clearly trying to stay on top of a poorly designed system, but the service and setup needs revising.
