My friend and I picked this place at random and were blown away. The food is fantastic and the staff is very friendly.

I googled best pizza in Milwaukee, and Maggio's popped up. It was absolutely true! The pizzas were fresh, had authentic homemade crust, homemade meatballs, even fesh made ranch dressing. If you're looking for the best pizza and fresh italian in Milwaukee, go to Maggio's! One of us also left our wallet. We called, and they were so kind to wait on us to come back even though they were closed.

We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint! We split a fig/prosciutto and a margherita that both were absolutely delicious. We finished it off with a great pistachio affogato. We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! The staff was so friendly. The caprese salad, garlic bites and spicy Italian pizza was a perfect meal for 2. The cannoli was an excellent way to cap off the meal. We’ll definitely be back!!

We absolutely love Maggio’s! We knew their pizza was delicious, but had only ever ordered it to go (major bonus points for the clever instructions included on the boxes for how to crisp up the pizzas at home!). Recently, though, we discovered the magic that is the Wednesday night Kids Night special. Not only is it a screaming deal, but I can’t adequately put into words how refreshing it is to feel so fully welcome as a family going out to eat with a 4.5 year old. Sometimes that end-of-day, midweek energy can be a lot, and it is a gift to know there’s a neighborhood spot that not only gets it, but welcomes it (with a scoop of gelato, even). On behalf of all the pizza-loving families raising young kids, thank you!!

The girl who helped us was so sweet. Ordered pickup for pizza and gelato. The blueberry lemon gelato was VERY sour, did not taste the blueberry at all. The pistachio gelato was the best I’ve ever had

Ordered for pickup and so happy we did!!! Have been missing having a wood fire pizza place ever since piccola closed and Maggio’s did not disappoint! Ordered the fig and prosciutto and the good land and both were wonderful. The bread bites were great too!

Very good wood-fire pizzas. Would recommend toasting again at home if you are getting takeout as we skipped this step but I wish we would have. Would definitely eat here again!

The pizza is *white* on the bottom and limp—not cooked long enough or at a high enough temperature. There are some sound-dampening tiles, but the dining area has too many hard surfaces. Add a lot of children to the mix, and it is quite loud. The Pepsi fountain cheapens the vibe. Get some Pellegrino and some canned cocktails. Get a couple of interesting salads that aren’t just Caesar or Caprese.

Nice little wood fired pizza place. Fast friendly service with great tasting pizza. I highly recommend the honey butter bites. Mmm... Delicious.
