I experienced friendly service, both hostess and waitress. Everything looked, smelled and tasted clean. Speed of service was to be expected. My two friends and I all LOVED our food. I had an omelet and crispy hash browns and pancakes. Everything was great. can't wait to go back.

We did not feel welcome here when we walked in. No hellos, no smiles. It made us all feel very uneasy, so we left and went to a different restaurant where everybody was friendly. I never felt unwelcome in a restaurant before, it was a very strange feeling.

Best service i have ever gotten in milwaukee. First time being here from out of town. Clean, fast, delicious food, reasonable price, coffee was great. Waitress took our order without writing down our order and it was exactly what I wanted. Will definitely go back when in town again.

Having been in the food service business for over 40 years. And realizing that there’s a shortage of workers. And realizing sometimes when ownership changes hands things can either get better or worse. I just took my daughter for her 25th birthday along with my grandson. And it was the worst breakfast and service I have ever received and almost my 40 years of owning restaurants and opening restaurants.. My waiter, Nicholas was in attentive, and even after I repeated my order three times it came out wrong. I believe in forgiveness I believe in things happen. But he never check back on my table. And the expediter or manager of the restaurant could see that I had questions, but never came to the table. To answer or help. . I am not judge or jury that is for sure. But after coming to Maxfield’s for years with my family. I will never be back. When I went to pay my bill, the manager didn’t even say a word didn’t ask how everything was didn’t even say thank you I started the Conversation. I don’t know what has happened to customer service. It used to be the customer was always right. Or let’s try to make it right for the customer. That is no longer happening at Maxfield‘s. God bless and good luck if you go there for breakfast or lunch. This my family and I first time here, upon walking in we were not seated, the host watched us walk and stand for 10 mins before seating us. After finally seating us. No server came to the table. After 30 mins of waiting to be be acknowledged we got up and left
