Maxfield's Pancake House

My main reason for going to Maxwell pancake House was to try out the pancakes I forgot that I even went there before and when I tried the pancakes I remember why I forgot. I can make pancakes better in my sleep. Enough said 😳 what's known doesn't have to be explained

I had a great experience at Maxfield’s Pancake House in Wauwatosa! The food came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — you can tell everything was made to order. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs cooked perfectly, and even the coffee was spot on. Service was excellent too — our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. It’s clear the staff here take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place with great food and even better service, Maxfield’s is a must-visit.

Best Coffee in the world! I'm not usually a coffee drinker and their stuff got me hooked. The service is excellent and the food is Great.

Food was amazing, their pancakes are top notch and decent servings.
Service was just ok. We waited to get the check to leave and then got stuck trying to pay. One person at the entrance was processing bills and playing hostess. On top of those 2 things, he was taking a phone order when I went to pay. The food will make me come back but, I will be conscious of the wait and that will decide whether I go

Have not been here in a while. Service was horrible. We were not even greeted when we walked in the door. Then we got sat down, no one came to see us for 10 min. Mind you there was 4 other tables already eating. When approached it was can I get you something to drink, not hello, how are you etc. Then coffee was ice cold. Asked for hot.... never came. Server walked by many times never even said a word.
Just horrible. Not recommended at all. Sorry to be an inconvenience to you at your job just tried to take my kid out for her birthday. Thanks for the ceappy service start for the day.

The food here is fine enough. I wouldn't pick this place myself, because although there are many menu items, it is still geared toward meat-eaters and inba fewnither ways is somewhat limited. However, lately I have been here frequently with groups and the waitresses are the best! So far, the orders have not been messed up and they do a great job of not mixing up orders and understanding what is on the menu in order to make good recommendations.

I experienced friendly service, both hostess and waitress. Everything looked, smelled and tasted clean. Speed of service was to be expected. My two friends and I all LOVED our food. I had an omelet and crispy hash browns and pancakes. Everything was great. can't wait to go back.

The food was average. If you just need something to eat, not bad. Service was terrible. But they seemed busy and under staffed to be fair

Wow! This restaurant was an absolute delight . Service waa amazing. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Quick and so yummy !!!!

We did not feel welcome here when we walked in. No hellos, no smiles. It made us all feel very uneasy, so we left and went to a different restaurant where everybody was friendly. I never felt unwelcome in a restaurant before, it was a very strange feeling.
