Food was great, as usual. Love the atmosphere. Service was great but the kitchen was behind with take out orders but not awful. I really miss the Oak Creek location, should never have closed that one.

This Pizza Man location doesn’t have the same selection as the Downer Avenue location. I was disappointed by that. If you have a favorite pizza or pizza topping, make sure you check the menus for the different locations to make sure they have it.
Edit (2025): we’ve since returned for take out at this location at least 5 times now that they’ve improved their available toppings selection for BYO. Unfortunately, the pizza was either totally wrong, didn’t have the post oven toppings included (basil, arugula etc-all of which you pay extra for on a BYO) or wasn’t worth the money (only 4 pieces of bread for an order of bruschetta. $13 for bruschetta and you can’t even give half a baguette? Do you get more bread when you dine in?). I’ve started to have to check my entire order for accuracy before leaving the restaurant and driving home.

It was very cold in the restaurant, our server was not very friendly or helpful with options or variety, sat us all the way in the back even though the place was empty.
