Man look! I read a bunch of these reviews before I went and lemme tell you, as a man from Houston Texas, I approve of this southern food! Catfish, red beans & rice, greens, cornbread and that damn german chocolate cake was all GREAT!! Felt like I was back home! I’ll be back to give them more of my money! Y’all check em out!

I absolutely love this place. The food here is delicious and is always nice and hot. I’ve had the catfish, turkey leg, mac and cheese, greens, and the dressing all cooked to perfection. It’s a little pricey but with this quality of food it is definitely worth it! The staff is also nice. Great customer service. 5 stars for sure.

This was our first time a this restaurant the staff was very polite the atmosphere was great it was very clean don't let this prices discourage you if you want good hot fresh food it's worth every single penny two people can easily eat off one plate the portions are plenty the food was fantastic and I haven't said that about a restaurant in a long time we will definitely be back without a doubt

A lady told me from the back and I Quote “ food will be 40 min wait lady from the back , talked to another lady asking why on google it says you open at 12 then posted a sign saying you open at 1pm. Lady from the back at 1.15 on Sunday 8/3/20205 says she didn’t have time to update google. Mind U the environment was very hostile at that moment while with my family ordering food. The cashier did an awesome job trying to cover for the lady from the back’s rudeness n disrespect to patrons while I remained quiet shocked at the tone of this lady. I will not will my family ever shop here again

Food was ok not overly seasoned. We were surprised at the pricing ($$), but the serving sizes & presentation made it worth it. No indoor seating, and we had to wait in our car for a call when our order was ready. The hours are limited and they don't take call in orders, so you'll have to catch them open if you have any questions. The service as far as food preparation didn't take too long. Being a southern bell at heart I was hoping for a more welcoming atmosphere (yes I miss the south), but at least the person behind the counter wasn't rude like a lot of places we've visited in the city.

I promise u I thought my grandma n moms was back there cooking. Extremely pleasant owners. N the love they put out is also tasted in the food!
