This was our second visit. We traveled to Milwaukee specifically to eat here another time. Its lovely in all regards. Just simply top-notch. No complaints—only praise.

We enjoyed our 4 course “tour of Sicily.” We started with the Sicilian orange and fennel salad, and the mediterranean stewed octopus. The orange and fennel salad was bright and delicious. The octopus was savory and tender. Our primo course was the spaghetti with a parmesan sauce with bread crumbs, and my husband had the grouper stuffed ravioli. The spaghetti was truly wonderful cheese delight with the added crunch of the breadcrumbs— wonderful! My secondo course was a breaded beef filet with string beans and a roasted slice of tomato. The filet was tender, the tomato - so simple and delicious, and the string beans were al dente and fresh. The dessert course was a wonderful, sweet brioche type roll with dark chocolate granita. The wait staff was professional and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

This was dinner with my brother from out of town. We had been in a weekend long conversation about Sicily, heritage, food and wine. The Sicilian menu was exquisite, service impeccable.

A lovely evening in the patio garden was delightful. The Sicilian menu offers plenty of delicious dishes and enjoying all outside was the best. Dining al fresco eliminates the noise factor of the indoor restaurant and the pacing and presentation were superb.

We ate outside on a beautiful evening. Great service! Most of the 4 course dinner items were very good. Secong night of their dinners celebrating Sicily. The rabbit was outstanding! Don't park in the lot across the Street. It was $30!!!!!he

The food here is amazing! The waitstaff is extremely attentive! Cozy dining room! The price is higher but it is worth it, especially for a special event.

We had a very pleasant experience at Bartolotta. our server was very kind and friendly. The food was to die for; we experienced the apulian menu; the appetizers (melon burrata and the polenta) were good and fresh but didn’t impress much. The 2nd course - Spagetti assassin and the risotto - and the 3rd course - pork and the lamb chops- we cooled to perfection and to die for! Hummmm. The deserts were also made in the house and well crafted. The lemon tart was a perfect balance of sugar and tart and the tiramisu was a dream in “perfect” proportions (yes I’m a picky tiramisu fan! :)

I highly recommend Bartolotta to anyone looking to have a fun and pleasant experience touring the outstanding cuisines of Italy.

Yes, the Bartolotta name is behind some truly remarkable spots in the Milwaukee area—but sadly, this isn’t one of them. Of all their establishments, this might just be the weakest link, and honestly, it feels like its time has come and gone. If tepid, uninspired food is your idea of a good meal, you might be content here. But if you crave bold flavors, authentic Italian, and a meal that stirs the senses—this won’t be the place. Don’t be swayed by the charming ambiance; it’s the prettiest disguise for a forgettable dining experience.

Phenomenal birthday dinner. Their menu changes every 5 weeks and centers around a region of Italy. This time the menu centered around Puglia, Italy. I love the concept. The plates are smaller portions and served individually--appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. You choose each course from a variety of options. I am not from the area but I want to come back. The food was delicious. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

We went there for our anniversary meal and had the pri fixe meal from the Abruzzo area in Italy. The food as completely authentic and very good. The service was great, very attentive but not pestering. This was our third time going there for their “tour of Italy meal.
It’s a very clever idea, the food is different from each region. So far no repeats on the main parts of the main meals Primi Secundi.

One of the best dining experiences in Milwaukee, and a delightful meal started with a great visit with bartender Scott. Food is always great and service is impeccable.
