Such a cute spot for downtown Wauwatosa! Lots of tables to sit at, friendly people, and good food. The pretzel we tried was huge and super fluffy on the inside! Will definitely come back to try more of the drinks. I just wish it was a bit larger and more spread out!

This is a cute little park! Has a large swimming pool/water park area that I did not go into, and a beautiful sand volleyball court. I spent my time in the picnic tables where the live music plays. Beautiful, quiet, and lots of shade.

Food was about average for an outdoor facility. The pizza wasn't bad, however someone accompanying us had it there a day earlier said it was undercooked on that occasion. Beer selection was decent. Hoyt park is a nice venue.

There was a band playing, Pete's Pops for sale, and plenty of room for kids to play aroundKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, maybe later in the night it could be more for adults than kids but when I visited in summer, around 7 on a weeknight there were a ton of kids playing

I get it that a lot of people write bad reviews for this place because of the long lines to order beer. But put that aside for a moment to appreciate all that makes this a wonderful environment to enjoy an afternoon/evening in the company of friends/family with music, good (not great) beer selection and some food. If you are lucky there is a food truck serving up additional dining options. Plenty of tables to gather around, short to long walk/hike options, bicycle paths, a swimming pool for kids and a playset for them as well. Sure, the beer selection can always be better; and the lines can be managed better. But perhaps your wait in line isn't as painful if spent chatting with people you care to hang out with.

Just outside the pool area is The Landing at Hoyt Park, Beer Garden. I’ve grown to love this place! I was iffy about it at first thinking it might bring problems to the neighborhood, but it actually brings family's and people together. It's very kid friendly, lots of fun for the adults, including theme nights, trivia nights, movie nights, Packer Parties every week, come watch the game together, there’s no excessive drinking, everyone is really responsible and uses this as a gathering place, even byo food/beverage if you want! It's great!Great entertainment, live music, & lots of fun! Every night is different. Game night is my favorite!☺ The staff is super friendly and I love that there is such a friendly & welcoming feel here! Fun for the whole family or just a single person! Come & try it for yourself!
