Came in late night and they were clearly overwhelmed but didn’t show it to the customers. It was all in the faces tho! Josh gave some of the best customer service which was very much neeeed after the day I had. He shared with me his frustration from the day as I did the same, and he proceeded to give me a pick me up as well as some great food. Thanks Josh for making my night. I hope you do great in life knowing you did a small deed for a stranger

Me and my boyfriend ordered a pizza and birthday stix tonight around 11pm. Our order's estimated arrival time was 11:41-11:51. We were super hungry so when the food wasn't here at 12am we called to see whats going on. The guy we talked to was super nice and without any hesitation gave us $10 off our order. Then he explained it was only him and the driver in the store and they got hit really hard with orders (he said they received about 15 orders around the same time.) Working in food service ourselves, we completely understood the situation. The pizza arrived about 10 mins later and the food was warm and delicious. The driver also dropped off a pint of free ice cream and a brownie for the wait. We were very surprised with the service.

Placed order online for Buffalo Chicken Topper and added onions. When I got home, I found that they had forgotten to add the onions I ordered (for an extra $1.75!!). Rather than apologizing and offering a resolution while I was still at the restaurant to pick it up (i.e. remake it correctly, offer a refund/discount, ask me if I’ll take it without onions, etc), they doubled down on their mistake. I opened my pizza at home to find that Toppers on State Street realized their mistake after cooking my dinner and INTENTIONALLY served me a (small) handful of RAW onions which were tossed on top after the pizza was cooked. They were then drizzled, boxed up and served to me like nothing was wrong. I called the store and they merely refunded the $1.75. Unsatisfied with this offering, I’m following up with this review. You may also notice that there is an excessive amount of crust with little or no toppings present. I’m absolutely fine with mistakes; they’re to be expected. But it’s a major red flag when a restaurant is willing to knowingly serve up sub-par food and hope the customer doesn’t notice or just won’t complain.
This toppers is my go to for late night pizza. My go 2 for jalapeno and pepperoni pizza

I ordered here after a mishap with with Pizza Hut. Fortunately, Toppers came through and the experience was great as usual. The driver was polite, the pizza was hot, and the order came on time with no drama.

After my shift, I decided to try out Toppers for the first time. This was my first time ordering and I don't typically leave reviews, but I had a great impression after visiting. I ordered a large Build your own Za hand tossed pizza to carryout and it was fresh and pretty delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the crust but everything else about it was up to par. I was very impressed by the two boys working. The cashier was very polite, helpful and energetic for being so late night and was asking me questions about my day and sympathizing with working at the hospital. The other employee looked tired (LOL which is too be expected so late at night) but he seemed nice and was working hard . The lobby was clean and felt welcoming. I will be back but if you are not a fan of thicker dough I would avoid the hand tossed pizza's here.
