We had a larger group and were able to find seats at the bar. We showed up around 6pm on a Tuesday. The bartender also prepared food so service did take a little longer than we had expected. She did great while managing other customers as well. A good and chill place to hang out with friends. Prices weren't bad. Food 3/5 Service 5/5

Standard flat top burger but the fixin are nice and fresh, tots were surprisingly good, perfectly crispy, stiff drinks!, classic Milwaukee neighborhood bar. Excellently salty bartender. Good

Stopped in for a beer and food. Hamm's on tap so couldn't pass that up. Wing special today so the Phoenix. Just the right amount of kick and perfectly crispy just how I like.

Okay people... if you're looking for a phenomenal Wing Wednesday deal, this is your place! 6 for $6, and 12 for $10! The wings are amazing, as shown in the pics, and we loved how they were a little charred! The place itself is a nice little corner bar with GREAT beer prices and good food, as we have went a few times now! The bartenders and cook they have (sometimes the bartenders are both which is cool!) are always super nice and friendly, but also VERY efficient at what they do! We love going here now, and we will forever recommend it!

Fish on Friday has not let me down yet. Fish is well cooked crispy perfection with a copious amount of crispy, golden fries. I need Extra slaw though cause it is DELICIOUS, and it's all served hot (except the slaw) and fast with an ice cold brew in an environment that gently whispers, "Relax..." after a long week of teaching other people's children. Thank you Walter's.

Since I've been in Wauwatosa I have been to Walter's several times. I've had burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, and onion rings, and can honestly say that I've never had any better, even at pricy restaurants. The menu is very small, but what they do, they do superbly. The beer on tap selection isn't huge, but adequate. The service is attentive and pleasant. There seem to be a lot of locals of all ages that frequent the bar, but they seem welcoming to newcomers. I have found friendly people at the bar to chat with several times. Restaurant prices have gotten so expensive, but a burger and beer at Walter's is really a bargain.I really love this place!
