The fish was very greasy and breading completely fell off. Waitresses were very nice. Cooks were working very hard in kitchen. If tge fish was better I would go back.

My hubby and I finally went to Brazen Head for burgers! He has been wanting to get the "2nd place burger" for a while now, so that's what he got. I got a cheeseburger w/bacon. I got regular fries and he got the fries special (I forgot the name but they had a Mediterranean spice on them) Both were excellent! The special was wings last night, so we got an order of garlic parmesan wings - which were excellent as well! We both had Bloody Mary's (because the mood struck us). We left FULL and HAPPY! Definitely recommend Brazen Head Pub for their great food and service!

Fantastic pub food. The Wisco Beef n' Cheddar is STACKED with meat (my wife's order). I had the tenderloin sandwich and it was juicy and tender and delicisous. It had real portobellos and a good amount of them. The bun was perfectly toasted and awesome. We shared an order of rueben rolls and they were also delicious and cheesy. We tried the "Fry of the month", a Moroccan dry rub tossed fry, and they were very good, a little bit of spice with a wonderful blend of flavors. The bartender was quick to take my order and get my beer when I got there. And was nice enough to warn me there would be a slightly longer wait. Which in the end it definitely wasn't more than 20 mins wait and he had told me at least 25-30, and they were busy. Overall a great experience. Will certainly repeat and suggest to others.

Love stopping in here for a bite, drink, or a meal. Wing Thursdays, before or after a show at The Bend, or just to catch your breath during the Saturday Farmers Market. Always something different and delicious, served by friendly staff

The food was pretty good and I had no complaints in the atmosphere. The service, on the other hand, wasn't so good. I had one water and 2 beers for drinks and had ordered them both at once. I had to ask a few times for that first beer and had to ask 2 different servers before I finally got my water (I actually got my food before my water, and I'd asked for the food a little later than the drinks). I was also on my second beer before I got my water. I kind of find it amusing that I had to ask several times for the bill, too. ? It's like, do you want me to pay or not?

Great food and service.
There are a few tables crammed along the wall opposite the bar.

So, if you're looking for a quiet sit-down family dining experience, you may want to rethink. Not kid friendly environment.

Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly, it's a bar.

Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair friendly. The main walkway is narrow. During busy times, it's tricky to navigate between those at the bar standing/ sitting and the adjacent high top tables.

Hands down the best downtown bar for food and drinks. Always exceptional customer service and the food is great! They make one hell of a good bloody marry as well. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Just moved here and it's become my go to for drinks and food! Top notch service and team here.

It's a pub, not a restaurant. Tables for two or eat at the bar. One table for a larger group.
Service was quick by friendly staff. Bar food was satisfying for lunch. Would go back for a beer and sandwich.

Love the look of the place, and the food was absolutely amazing. We went in just expecting a couple of apps to hold us over, but each one blew us away that we kept trying more. Recommended the fried mushroom, the Reuben roll, and fried duck...and probably everything on the menu

The Brazen Head Pub is located in West Bend, WI was neat and clean 90 minutes into the lunch session. This place is essentially a narrow bar with seating for couples along the opposite wall and enough room to walk from the front to the back kitchen area to pick up your takeout orders. It was pleasant for lunch. I’m not confident there is enough to do other than drink to make it worth going there after dinner.

The “Good” … 1-The burger patty was grilled to a tasty medium-well. 2- the Patty was supposed to be a 1/2 pound burger and I believe it truly was 1/2 pound as it extended out well beyond the edges of the bun! 3- This month’s “fries of the month” were garlic Parmesan fries… Which were a nice change from standard french fries.

The “Needs Improvement “ … 1- I told the bartender or whoever answered the phone for my order that I was a first time customer… And as it turns out according to the website, when a customer orders a BYOB (build your own burger ) I should’ve been asked which of three types of burger buns (brioche, pretzel or rye bread). Options were never offered which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment as I really would’ve liked to try the rye bread.
2- I requested barbecue sauce on my nearly $16 burger and I only had three bites where I could taste barbecue sauce.
3- for most folks this last one is minor, but when serving seasoned fries, the fries should be put into the carryout container first and the burger last… The staff at this bar/restaurant put the burger in first as my entire top half of the bun was covered with the garlic Parmesan fallout from adding the fries afterwards. It became a problem when my daughter tried the fries and wasn’t a fan. (although I was) and when she found the garlic Parmesan sprinkles all over her sandwich, it was hard for her to enjoy it because you couldn’t get all of the garlic particle flavors off the bun.

Parking: Since this bar/restaurant is in a redeveloped area but utilizing older buildings, there was ample “angle” parking on both sides of the street for lunchtime dining… But if you went on a Friday or Saturday night, you might find the competition for street parking be challenging, depending on the other competing restaurants located in very close proximity.

You would never guess from the outside, or even the inside, but this place is INCREDIBLE! The bartender was amazing and the food was nothing short of MAGIC! Don't be duped into the glitz of the other places. This is THE one you need to visit!
