Stellar burgers and staff. Please add Beyond or Impossible to the options.

This is one of my “go to” pubs when in the West Bend area.

It’s a tight space. Difficult if you have a party above 4. Most tables are setup for 2.

But the food (burgers and wings) are awesome. Great friendly service.

We happened in on a Thursday. Wing night. Great flavors. Suggest the Garlic Parmesan and the Buffalo sauce. Delicious!

Just a fun pub feeling. Well lit, clean and excellent food

The burgers are amazing here. If you've been there, you already know 😃

The fungus, the burger, the fries, simple food done better than anyone, and served with a friendly smile. Congratulations on winning the Best Burger in Wisconsin 2025!

Unbelievable burgers and wings. Food is excellent. Bartenders are very nice and busted their tails. Two cooks were working hard and food out in timely manner even though place was full. Seating is limited and the rap/hip hop music playing is a little odd for the crowd that was there.

First time visitor at Brazenhead, ordered a burger and fries and was blown away at how great this burger was. Cooked to perfection. Can't wait to visit again!

My husband and I were looking for a new place to try on a rare child-free night and decided on this one. We don't normally go to bars since neither of us drink but that is the standard restaurant model in downtown West Bend outside of a few select places which we've already tried. I was particularly looking forward to see if the fried fungus was similar to Jug's as I love theirs. We sat down right away at one of the high tables which already had menus waiting. It was the only open table and the bar was about 3/4ths full around 5 on a Friday night but it was quiet enough to still have a conversation easily. The music was good (90's-early 2000's pop-rock) and just the right volume. It took the waitress a bit to come over which was fine as we were still figuring out what to try. She got our order in and grabbed drinks quickly.

We started with the cheese curds and fried fungus which came out quickly. The cheese curds have a nice light breading similar to the ones you'd get at King Pin for those familiar with them. The fried fungus which is strips of portobello mushrooms was a bit of a surprise. They seem to be lightly dredged in a seasoned flour and then fried straightaway. It definitely wasn't what I expected but they were good nonetheless. The only thing I do wish is that they'd been a bit more uniform. The thinner slices were a great blend of portobello and spice with a crispness but the thicker ones lacked enough spice to complement the flavor. At least you knew that someone actually had taken fresh mushrooms and prepared them rather than them being air fried out of the freezer.

For the main course, my husband had the Italian Stallion sandwich with the special of the month fries (mesquite I believe) while I opted for the chicken bacon club and swapped out the hoagie roll for a pretzel bun and regular fries. The sandwiches came out just as quickly as the appetizers which, given that almost everyone there including the people at the bar was ordering/eating meals also, was a pleasant surprise. My husband loved his sandwich and said it had just the right amount of heat and plenty of meat. I also enjoyed my sandwich and was glad that I swapped the buns. The chicken is slices of chicken breast instead of a solid single breast which was honestly nice. It was tender and juicy along with allowing all the flavors to come together with each bite. Fair warning, if you are sensitive to garlic, you may want to swap the garlic mayo for regular. Since I love garlic, it was absolutely perfect and tasted like it had been made there with freshly crushed garlic cloves! The specialty fries had a good flavor and kick. The regular fries are pretty standard.

If you're expecting a traditional Irish bar with bagpipe music and Scotch eggs, this isn't it, but it is a great local place to have a delicious and filling dinner worth eating. The bartenders and waitresses were friendly and relaxed as were the other patrons. Always a good sign especially on a busy Friday night. By the time we left, the place was full up. We will be back to try other menu items since the burgers looked amazing as well!

After hearing about the quality food, my girlfriend and I decided to give Brazen Head Pub a shot. It was a Friday evening following my son's HS track meet that brought us back through West Bend. The place was roughly a quarter full and we opted to sit at the bar. We waited several minutes without being acknowledged, with two additional couples coming in after us. Both of those groups received immediate service of drinks from the two bartenders, while also placing their orders for dinner. One of which included a lengthily conversation with the server whom obviously knew the customer. Following a comment of being invisible, we finally received service. Food was OK, but multiple things were left off our plates that were brought to the table when we had almost finished our dinners. We continued our conversation and finished our drinks, with the wait staff completely disappearing. The bar back eventually showed and asked if we needed any boxes for any food to go, which we declined. Oddly, he didn't clear our plates and went back towards the kitchen to converse with the cooks. We waiting an additional 15 minutes we eventually gave up on potentially getting our bill. With growing frustration we added up our potential food and drink costs, put cash on the bar, and left to find one of the bar-tenders outside having a cigarette. I have zero desire of coming back.

Was very much looking forward to trying your establishment. Unfortunately after a 45 minute ride to get there because I had seen your Facebook post about having the best burger in Wisconsin, I will never return and I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time. We walked in around 2:30 pm on Sunday May 11th, yes I know, it was Mother’s Day but given that their was only 2 other tables sat and less than a dozen people at the bar that is no excuse for the service we received, or actually lack there of. After being sat and physically seeing both the waitress and the bartender see us sit, we waited at least 10 minutes before deciding to go up to the bar to order our drinks and ask for menus as no one had been to our table yet. After that we thought someone would come take our order as we had seen the waitress great, bring menus and drinks, and take orders from a couple tables that had sat after us and from a couple that had sat at the bar. But unfortunately for us, no such luck. I continued to observe both the waitress and the bartender look at our table several time and yet both refused to serve us. At this point my anxiety was at a point I no longer felt comfortable in this establishment and my boyfriend confirmed that it very much seemed like “we” specifically were not welcome in your bar and have no understanding as to why as it was both of our first times there. So again, will not return and will tell everyone I know not to go.

The fish was very greasy and breading completely fell off. Waitresses were very nice. Cooks were working very hard in kitchen. If tge fish was better I would go back.

My hubby and I finally went to Brazen Head for burgers! He has been wanting to get the "2nd place burger" for a while now, so that's what he got. I got a cheeseburger w/bacon. I got regular fries and he got the fries special (I forgot the name but they had a Mediterranean spice on them) Both were excellent! The special was wings last night, so we got an order of garlic parmesan wings - which were excellent as well! We both had Bloody Mary's (because the mood struck us). We left FULL and HAPPY! Definitely recommend Brazen Head Pub for their great food and service!

Fantastic pub food. The Wisco Beef n' Cheddar is STACKED with meat (my wife's order). I had the tenderloin sandwich and it was juicy and tender and delicisous. It had real portobellos and a good amount of them. The bun was perfectly toasted and awesome. We shared an order of rueben rolls and they were also delicious and cheesy. We tried the "Fry of the month", a Moroccan dry rub tossed fry, and they were very good, a little bit of spice with a wonderful blend of flavors. The bartender was quick to take my order and get my beer when I got there. And was nice enough to warn me there would be a slightly longer wait. Which in the end it definitely wasn't more than 20 mins wait and he had told me at least 25-30, and they were busy. Overall a great experience. Will certainly repeat and suggest to others.
