They really don't need my advertising because they were packed. Great place...Pizza was excellent. Staff are some of the nicest people. You won't be disappointed.

You should fire the kids washing dishes in the back. My plate was filthy, very disappointed. Never coming here again.

Went for lunch today, wife had the Ceasar wrap and a Diet Coke that the bartender did keep it filled. I had the Asian chicken chopped salad which were both good! I also had a Bloody Mary which was just average at best.We had to sit at the bar which was fine. The bartender did quite a good job as she was pretty buried serving food and making drinks without much help from the rest of the staff. Was surprised when the owner showed up and just sat down next to the big pile of dirty glassware that was stacked at the end of the bar. Needless to say, this was not a great visit and not sure if we will be back.

It was our first time eating at Gary’s, and the food was great. I’d give the food and drinks 5 stars. But our server Kara must’ve been having a bad day because she was unpleasant right off the bat. She seemed annoyed to even be there. My friend had a coupon, and upon getting the discounted total, Kara said in a rude tone “just so you’re aware the 20% tip is based off the discounted price”
She should really watch her tone with people as all of us have been in the service industry before- and obviously know that. And due to me working in the industry before i still tipped 20%, even though due to her attitude i don’t think she deserved it.
I’d go back for the food, and hopefully get a better server next time.
The service was great, and the food was nice and tasty. Highly recommend the chips for your side choice.

First time visiting Gary's. We were seated right away at a very comfortable table. I had a cheeseburger with potato wedges, and my wife had the half salad and bowl of soup lunch special. Both were very nicely prepared. We will certainly be back.
The only drawback was that it took a little while for the food to come out of the kitchen. This was on because we were the only people in the restaurant.

If you are going out to eat and run, possibly good place to eat. But if you are choosing for a dining experience and to spend time visiting with your companion, not optional. You will be puzzled when you are asked to leave for other guests to be seated. Never experienced this before eating out. Food was simply average. Sorry we have to ask you to leave as we have other reservations. Well, in return, sorry I need to tell my circle of influence, to make other reservations to establishments that create a better experience that doesn't include rude.

Horrible service!
Server/Bartendar spent more time talking to the ONLY person at the bar than waiting on us. She only had two tables and still was terrible.
Ran out of Bloody Mary mix(reg) and then after we ordered, she came back and said they had no more of the soup my husband ordered.
Appetizer was good but unbelievably small for the price.
We didn’t even get the rest of our meal.
Just left
Will never go back.

My husband and I went today for a fish fry at Gary's Place. We had heard alot of good reviews about this restaurant but the food fell short. He had the blackend fish and i had the beer batter cod. The blackend was horrible. Very tuff, didn't seem done, shinny in appearance. My cod was better but still tuff. The fries were good but the chips were tastless and overdone. We won't be back.

Gary's Place is a nice location and a very cozy interior situated in one of West Bend's historic old buildings. Been there a few years ago so decided to give it another go for a quiet date night with my wife. We had bruschetta for an appetizer and both had the Chicken Marsala - sadly neither was very appetizing. Whatever the use for balsamic vinaigrette is quite mild, though the brush was fresh and crispy. The Chicken Marsala had over cooked noodles and pasta with more mild sauce, though the chicken was tender and juicy. It just left us both unsatisfied and thinking we better wait a while before coming back. Nice staff, nice building but it was too cold and drafty. There was a table of 6 next to us who didn't even take their jackets off during dinner. Parking is limited too, be prepared to park across the street. Maybe summers are better?
