We ordered the Friday night fish fry...breaded cod with truffle fries. The kitchen forgot to put the parmesan cheese on the fries so the bar tender, whom did not was her hands, grabbed a hand full of cheese from the kitchen and sprinkled the cheese on my fries. I was in disbelief about the size of the 3 pieces of cod for $16.00 a plate. The marble rye bread slices were bigger then the fish pieces. We had to keep asking for refills on our drinks. I asked a server if she please let one of the 2 bartenders know and she gave me a look of disgust for bothering her. The whole dining experience was terrible. My son wanted to surprise me with a great dinner which was a disaster.

Came in at 10:40pm on a Saturday, grill closed, haven’t eaten since breakfast, worked and ran around all day. Owner fire up some burgers and fries for me and the lady. Doesn’t get better than that folks. Plus the place is laid out very nice, good vibezzzz

Friday Fish Fry was overcooked and dry. She didn't say onion rings and tatertots were an upgrade charge. She didn't come back to our table until we were finished eating. Sure would've liked another beer with my meal!

I went here for the first time the other day on recommendation and WOW!!! It exceeded all of my expectations. I had one of the ‘build a burger’ and I’m not even joking when I say it’s the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. I was really impressed with how good it tasted-perfect combo of savory and juicy. I liked that I could pick what toppings I wanted and I could choose whether I wanted the toppings grilled or not. Even though I had a burger, I was absolutely AMAZED at the number of vegetarian options available-its rare to find a restaurant (especially in this part of the state!) that has a vegetarian option (other than a sad salad) let alone more than one option . But here, I found so many vegetarian options on the menu that I could’ve had and that was so awesome. The sides and appetizers where good too-bruschetta was excellent, my tater tots crispy, and the fries were well-seasoned. I also really enjoyed the cocktails that I had (one that tasted EXACTLY like one of those bomb pops and the one that had cold brew and bailey’s). Atmosphere was great too-the noise level wasn’t too loud so I was able to carry on a conversation with my date. We also had excellent service too. This, on top of being incredibly reasonably priced- I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Definitely give this place a visit next time you’re in Barton!

Flavor of the food is amazing! Took my neighbor today and she loved it!! Two guys cooking today both did outstanding job. Great spot to eat on a Sat afternoon no waiting . Very accommodating to your needs if you have restrictions with food.
