Jail House Restaurant

Only issue I had with this place is parking limited. Which is only a problem because they have great food. Prime rib, ridiculous, king cut was as big as my head and cooked perfectly, service was quick and friendly. Definitely a must try.

We drive a half hour to enjoy their hospitality. We have been going to the Jailhouse for years. We have never been disappointed. The service is great and the food is outstanding.

Have been coming here for years! Always love ordering a nice filet cooked perfect every time. On saturdays they offer duck soup and it has been a favorite for years. The dessert tray is what shocked me this time. Must try type of place. Show up early for parking lol.

Went for a fish fry which was good but they could have put more than one forkful of coleslaw in the little silver dish. I’m not exaggerating, no more than a tablespoon on the fork. 🤷‍♀️

The bakery dessert selections were amazing.
Saturday prime, I did not order. However it was ordered by my other half . I am not a big meat eater but it was fantastic. Melt in your mouth, with flavor.
Spinach salad was very good. Heavy on dressing but flavorfully.
Manhattan and lemon spritzer very good.
We came to this place by accident.
Must stop if looking for a steakhouse.

We had a great time, food was very delicious and Kennedy service Rocks ! Ask for her tables !!!

Bar and wait staff are great. Our server, Vicky, did a great job. Lasagna was well made. Very balanced, not cheesy greasy mess like some I've had. Stuffed shrimp was tasty, and the sandwich and the walleye entree did not disappoint.

This place was fantastic. The building was super cool, the food was delicious, and our waitress (Riley, I hope I'm spelling that right!) was absolutely hauling up and down the stairs and all over the place while still finding time to stay right on top of our food and drinks.

I will definitely be back, and soon.

Their Cowboy steak is now a very thin cut, so expect it to be overcooked. My husband ordered medium rare and got medium well done. Steak fries were cold like they'd been sitting around. We did inform our server but it's not his fault, right? I ordered the Seafood Scampi. There was no butter, no garlic, no wine or broth (of any kind), no lemon, no good. I'd be happy to forward a scampi recipe to you, since you obviously lost yours. It used to be excellent. The seafood was just okay but I sent back all the pasta because it was so starchy, it was gross. No, I dont want a box to take it home. Pasta is my favorite food in the world and I sent back all of it. We kept going back (we've been going there since 2017), hoping maybe it was a turnover in cooks or meat suppliers. This is the 3rd time we've ordered these exact meals and been completely disappointed. What's the definition of insanity? It's doing the same thing, over and over, expecting a different result. Sorry Jailhouse three strikes, you're out. I give up! Tonight's bill was $85 and it was totally disgusting. Our server did give us a $10 gift card towards our next visit. That's going unused. Can you recommend a good steak house?
