Great atmosphere! Great staff! Great food! Always feels like some magic must be in the air! Unique and worth the drive!

Although we know it's holiday time and they would be busy, we went to have a cocktail while we waited because we have always enjoyed them. However, last night we waited over an hour and a half to eat and there was 2 of us. We waited patiently and when are food came we were absolutely disappointed. My husband's combo platter was awful...the walleye sliver was sad to say the least. I have never seen a piece so small in my life. Our coleslaw tasted spoiled and my baked potato was ice cold. When she brought us our bread "basket" there was sadly only 2 half pieces inside. That means 1 piece of bread for 2 people. We had to ask for water which was upsetting as every other table had water crafts at them. It's the holiday season and we know they are busy but it was so loud we couldn't hear each other at our own table. Needless to say, we will not be back as I just don't feel the food was good enough for what we spent and the staff clearly dismissed our presence if we didn't get the service others enjoyed around us. Not a great wedding anniversary experience for us!

Bartender made an error with my food then tried to bully me into eating it. Said that she heard something else. Acted very pissy. Grow up and accept responsibility

10/10 amazing! The place has a rustic supper club vibe, it felt old but was updated, clean and cozy. The old fashioneds were delicious. We ordered the bone in ribeye and it was the best steak we have ever had. Cooked perfectly, juicy, seasoned and a flavor that was to die for. We ended the night with an espresso martini at the bar. We cannot wait to come back!

My family of four ate at the Jail House for the first time tonight. We had a bit of a wait to be seated which was no problem. We were able to get drinks quickly at the bar, and the service and friendliness from the bartenders and host were great while we waited. The bar area is small, so it was a bit awkward shuffling around while we were waiting to be seated. Once we were seated we were waited on in a timely manner, and the server was very nice, but the timing of service between courses was sluggish. Soups and salads were really good, 3 of our 4 meals were good. Fish fry, gumbo special, and chicken fettuccine alfredo. I had the scallops and they weren't good at all. I'd give the dish a 3 out of 10. We'll give them a try again, but it was a bit of a drive and I think there are a lot of good options in the area that would be more of a go to.

First time there was on Friday. Everything was great! Will definitely be back. My filet was sooooo good. Our servers for 11 of us took good care of us. The desserts were delicious. Check them out!

You gotta check out this awesome restaurant in Milwaukee! I had stuffed shrimp, cheese curds, halibut, and chocolate cake. Everything was amazing! I'm not a fan of cold cake, so I took it to go so it could warm up to room temperature. The pan-seared halibut was the best thing ever. Definitely recommend it.

Our meal last night was so delicious!!! We both had the garlic tenderloin. Both cooked to perfection! The salads are amazing with peppercorn ranch dressing.
