I had the meatlovers skillet. My eggs were perfect, plenty of meats, very short wait for food, server was very pleasant and attentive.Only criticism i guess would be the hashbrowns could have been more crisper.

Small cafe with decent traditional food items. Clientele tends to be older with traditional eats. The last visit was over a holiday when limited restaurants were open. They appeared to be understaffed and waited a bit to be seated as well as took a whilt to be noticed once seated. This was not a typical situation / experience due to the holiday. Hopeful they over staff for their next holiday experience. T

We stopped on the way home from the lake. It was Sunday, Father's Day, at about noon, so it was a little more crowded than usual. We had been here before, but that was a couple of years ago and we were looking forward to trying it again. It took a long time for our waitress to take our order - she took orders from two tables who were seated after us, but we thought, hey, it's busy, it's Father's Day, so we'll be patient. When she finally arrived, the waitress was pleasant. My wife ordered pancakes, which were lukewarm at best. I ordered eggs, American fries, bacon and toast. The eggs were just lukewarm, the potatoes were cold, but the bacon was tasty and crisp. All in all, it was a disappointment. No matter how busy a restaurant is, I expect my food to be warm. Cold eggs and potatoes are just not appealing. After this experience, I don't know if we'll stop in again.

We ordered chopped steak, eggs, pancakes, chicken fried steak, and crepes. The chicken fried steak was crispy, the gravy was very good, the best we've had anywhere.

This is what a hometown diner is all about. Great food, great service, reasonable prices, generous portions, and a wide range of menu options. With community and relationships being built at their tables. In my opinion, they're Mexican food is better than the Mexican restaurants in town. We've also had their breakfast and it was also on point. The waitresses know their menu well and have shown themselves to be very good at helping us find the perfect meal.
