I love Panda. And I understand what goes on inside a fast food restaurant, I understand that things can get hectic. Especially when short staffed. Been there, done that. Can personally put myself in their shoes.
HOWEVER, today was just terrible negligence!
Firstly, door had a sign that the Lobby was closed, Drive Through only-which now forces people to wait in an extremely long line to just get their food that was already ready for pick up.
I placed my order via the website at about 1:05 pm. I made the pick up for 1:30. Plenty of time to make, or start making, whatever food needs to be made incase there was a shortage.
Because there was already a line for the drive through, it was an additional 30 minute wait just to get to the window. It's now 2:05.
Was then told that we would have to pull around front because they ran out of Kung Pao, and that they are making it now, which would be another 20 minute wait.
I already paid online, but I flat out told them don't bother. I would inquire about a refund online.
If they are already rushing to make food that should have been in the process AN HOUR ago, when I placed the order, I can already tell that they are not making quality food, even for fast food standards.
Panda makes you input the email AND phone number when ordering online. They could have called ahead of time to say, sorry, your order is running late. Or a text message.I could have canceled the order if need be.
I feel bad for the employees, because obviously they're overwhelmed, and the window worker was obviously very sorry and polite. But come on, management. Close the store if you don't have enough people to work, don't waste my time and gas sitting in a drive through.

This is not the first time but now the fourth time that I ordered and paid for double chow mein and didn't even get regular amount of chow mein. This is disgusting that I pay for double but then don't even receive the regular amount . I made sure to call and tell the young lady I spoke with so please make sure I get the double order of chow mein like I paid for and she said okay I'll make sure. I didn't get it, again not even a regular amount. I will be calling the corporate office first thing in the morning. Charging somebody for something and then not giving it to them, can't be legal. These young kids they have working at the West Bend Panda express, not only have no idea what they're doing but they have no respect and no care to actually give people what they pay for. I will never order from this place again. And looking at the reviews I'm not the only one

Optimist Prime

I don't normally review fast food places unless it's horrible or exceptional. This was exceptional. The sweet tea was not ready when I had ordered it and the manager was understaffed. But he still brewed fresh tea and had the orange chicken nice and fresh for me. Friendly and quick. Even threw in extra sauce for me. And the chicken was the best orange chicken from panda that I have ever had. Thank you for great service and a great meal.

I love the beef and broccoli bowl with rice that they serve. It has all its own seasoning from the beef juices and the broccoli has a little crunch to it. This location is always very clean and efficient. I went to get a bowl of beef and broccoli today and they were busy. I was 4th in line and yet it took less than 4 minutes to get me to the window to pay and pick up my food. The employees here are always friendly. The grounds are always clean.
The amount of food you get is well with the price. If you have never tried the food here, it would be well worth your time.

Staff is amazing! The food is great quality and portions are good especially for the price you pay considering how everything is so expensive these days. You can spend $10 and get a great meal and be set for lunch or dinner. I also Like that they have healthier options too, I’d recommend the super greens with beef broccoli or grilled teriyaki chicken.

We dined in the restaurant tonight during prime dinner time. The store was clean and organized. The staff greeted us as we entered the store. The food was fresh and delicious! Even though the store was extremely busy, everyone was kind, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommend!
