This review hurts me. I absolutely loved when this place was the BBQ Pit; it was my favorite place in town. Now...? IDK, I get a vibe from a bar tender that she doesn't like her job, but that aside, my food tonight was ordered as a medium-rare burger. Unfortunately it came out well-done. All I wanted was just a little pink at least. However, what killed it for me is the wax paper for the cheese was grilled on the burger. Chewing on that was not appetizing. What happened? I miss the glory days. I will continue to be a regularly and will change this review pending change. It's now under new ownership. We will see how it goes...

We decided to try a place for dinner as a family. After seeing social media posts on a local dining site & Facebook we peeked at the menu and decided to give it a try. When we arrived it was busy in the bar area and there was a sign that said seat yourself and order at the bar. I will say the seating part was sort of tricky since we had not been there to dine. Eventually we found a dining space in the back. After getting menus from the bar we did have a friendly and attentive waitress/bartender come take our order. While they didn’t have a mocktail menu she happily mixed something up for me to enjoy. The kids had fun playing games and exploring the old phone booth. Kids mostly ordered off the app/shareables menu & my husband and I had burgers. Burger options were delicious and I loved the fries. Dinner was yummy and everyone left happy overall, we would visit again or door dash!

Best food in town! The cook is simply amazing and always comes out to make sure we have a positive experience. We make sure to always tip the cook personally because of our experience. He seriously needs his own bar or restaurant! I invite anyone that doubts me to try eating here! Pls tip this man

The husband and I both had the Cajun fish fry, 3pcs. for $15. Hands down THE BEST we've had in FOREVER!! Not spicy, despite the name, super light but tasty breading, fish was just as tasty 💗 Came with tarter, coleslaw, thick toasted rye bread (nice touch) & potato pancakes! OMG, the potato pancakes are not to be missed!! We also ordered a side of the garlic cheese curds & they MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!! Highly recommend!! Everything was so damn good, I completely forgot to take pics 😁 I'd give 10 stars if I could ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Parking: Plenty of street parking, might have to walk. Also large parking lot by BMO bank, which is free, within walking distance as well.
Was a bit nervous to bring my family with young children for a Sunday noon lunch. So I called and the lady on the phone sounded friendly and kind/ helpful. So we decided to try it out. As we walked in we were greeted right away. All the staff was so friendly and kind. The food was amazing as well. We will be back. It was a great experience.

I suggest you find a better place to go. Jimmy Hughes one of there employees think it funny that a child was stuck by a vehicle and the driver drove away. People like this do not deserve patronage
