On Wednesday it's all you can eat smelts. I love this place, I've only been to this place 2 times and plan to go often. I have loved smelts since I was a little girl and now I was told about this place from my next door neighbor that knows that I love smelts. They open at 11:00 a. m. But you have to make a reservation it will be best because it will get packed fast.Parking: Small parking lot
Very quaint restaurant and bar. Bar is connected to the dining area with great music while you eat. We stopped for lunch and had chicken wraps, cheeseburger, and blt sandwiches. Everything was made with large portions, and French fries are crisp outside and tender delicious inside.

We got there early and were seated immediately.(Glad we did)They get really busy and for good reason. The food was amazing and the servings were huge. We had enough leftover for another dinner.Service was a little off. We started with one server, and she was suddenly gone, and a second server took over. She was nice and did a good job. They were so busy, but she did the best she could.

First and probably last time experience for us.. nothing special, unless you're a local who likes to deal with a loud bar environment. There's not enough separation of the bar to the dining area,, way too loud - and this was before a 5:pm rush?. The floor (and table) seemed to pitch a bit downward the further north in the building you traveled, along with floor joists that have been overworked for years causing every step of a waitress or staff to move everything on the table, -- very annoying.Food? it was ok, i had chicken/shrimp and she had shrimp.. Generous portions and it was ok ,, not enough of a wow factor to bring us back..To each their own, good luck ,, maybe an earthquake like experience with high school cafeteria levels of noise is right up your ally? If so, you'll def enjoy it.

The food here is always spectacular but the service on my last visit was exceptionally slow unfortunately.Parking: The place isn't huge so the parking lot isn't huge either but never had a problem getting a spot.

Went for dinner with friends. It had been highly recommended. Small place but we had a reservation and got seated quickly. I had a steak but it had a fair amount of fat and gristle. They don't have good steaks like new york which i prefer due to less fat and gristle. The steak was ok. Our friends ate sandwiches and i think they thought they were pretty good. Portion sizes were good. But i don't think any of the 4 of us are planning a return visit. There are enough restaurants that knock our socks off that we don't have to settle for anything less.

Love this place, my favorite fish fry in the area. A lovely atmosphere. And our server was wo wonderful!!
This is a cool casual quaint mom n pop on the lake establishment. We stopped in for lunch after boating. I love that you can order a fish fry any day of the week with choices such as bluegill, perch, halibut, etc. They also had a bunch of options for carnivores to which I can't speak. I hope I'll find my way back there,!

I was craving broasted chicken, so I ordered an 8 piece bucket to go. They put the box into a plastic bag and tied the bag closed. This created a lot of steam, which in turn made the chicken soggy. Chicken tasted burnt. VERY disappointed.
