Beautiful atmosphere, but the food is way overpriced.
50 dollars for a filet is ridiculous. I've had better steaks at Texas Roadhouse
Exceptional experience. We will definitely be back soon.
My first time here, thought we'd give it a try for my sister's celebration of retirement. Beautiful area on the lake. Friendly waitress. Drinks were good. However my husband ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came out well done. It was so thin almost like it was a sandwich steak.I ordered the NY strip medium well and had to return it as it was really undercooked. I sent it back to ask for it to be cooked longer. The waitress brought it back out. I cut into it and it looked good. However the first bite I had tasted really funky, spit it back into my napkin. Thought maybe it was just the grizzle on the end piece so I tried another piece, needless to say it tasted like it was rancid and I immediately ran to the bathroom as I thought I was going to vomit (which I did). Thankful for mints at the entrance because the taste in my mouth was disgusting. Our waitress was aware of this and that my husband's steak was cooked improperly. I'm assuming the chef mixed up our orders. The waitress apologized up and down and said the manager took my steak off the bill. The waitress offered to cook me another entree, but I just was afraid to try anything else. I was disappointed that management didn't come out and talk to me personally because it's not the waitresses job to do that and I felt bad for her as it wasn't her fault. No one addressed my husband's steak being well done vs medium rare. No special dessert or anything for my sister's retirement, even though on our reservations it asked if we were celebrating anything special. The steaks were so disappointing for both of us. However the rest of our party had tenderloins and chicken and all of their meals were good. Was expecting so much more. Shame on management for leaving this to the waitress instead of coming out and talking to our table. Really put a damper of our celebration.
Always enjoyed this place for dinner. Their new Sunday brunch is fantastic as well!
Delicious food with a view of the lake. A nice set of options. We had the walleye and it was exquisite and the BBQ Ribs were cooked to perfection. A short walk to the lake led to a beautiful sunset and perfectly clear water.
Great for corporate events
Arrive early for dinner because parking on the premises fills up quickly. Had a delicious dinner (prime rib) outside on the patio. Highly recommend.
Beautiful setting on patio with view of Cedar Lake. Fish fry was very tasty and the potato pancakes were excellent!
I visited for the first time yesterday and found this to be a cozy atmosphere with good food and friendly staff. I’m looking forward to coming back.
We recently hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Timmer’s in their private event room. It was absolutely perfect. Working with Allison was amazing. She was so attentive to our needs and met with us several times to make sure everything was perfect. The room was set up beautifully. The food was wonderful. The staff seemed invisible but our guests were so well taken care of. Many of our guests commented on the room, the service, the beautiful location, and the food. Thank you Allison and the Timmer’s team!

Took my husband for his 51st birthday. The atmosphere and the food is amazing! The best part was our server Tiffany! She’s super funny and does an amazing job!
We dined last night (Saturday) with a large group for my father‘s 90th birthday dinner. The food and drinks were amazing, and Mitch our waiter was outstanding!

Meh. Had been here some years ago for an enjoyable experience and decided to come for our anniversary again recently. Setting is very picturesque and I would recommend dining outside if weather permits; inside has very limited views of lake and property. Waitress was already asking for drink order after we had only been seated 10 seconds and hadn't even had a chance to glance at limited wine list; felt like they were already looking to turn over the table as soon as we were seated. She also remarked several times about how this was her 2nd job and how she had only recently finished training and drinks were slow because bartender was also helping serve; impression was that management is not staffing sufficient to demand and not giving staff sufficient training or support. My wife enjoyed her lobster tails and we liked the brie appetizer. My burger was fairly rare (I asked for medium well) and pretty tasteless. Given the quite high prices, I was anticipating better. Menu selection was quite limited as well. Maybe they're just having some growing pains, but value for the money didn't seem to be there this time.
