Sofia's Kitchen & Bar

Definitely a must stop. Great food, great service and staff. The prices and portions are also very reasonable. Not to mention buy one margarita get one free on Wednesdays.

This is my wife and I second time coming and each time they haven't disappointed. If you are in the area or not, this place is worth a try. Definitely will be back.

Great service and delicious food. I’ve only eaten their taco dinner with rice and beans, but never disappointed!

We got there on a Monday around 10 pm they closed at 11 pm and the service was amazing. The food was delicious! I'm Mexican and my expectations about Mexican food is always big. They serve authentic Mexican food. I had a steak gordita and a pastor taco my son got a quesadilla the cabeza and he was very surprised of the size and the delicious it was.
I highly recommend you the churros sunday! The waitress was very kind smiling all the time and checking on us in case we need something.

Every time we come to Milwaukee from up north (3 1/2hrs drive-- this time through a blizzard) we make sure to stop at Sofias.. the chips and salsas and horchatas alone are worth the trip plus i order enough to go that will last me a week or so! It's that good! And the only thing better than the food was the service..they always hook me up with tons of chips and loads of salsa plus they're really nice. Oh! I almost forgot about the street corn!!! don't forget to try the street corn!!!! 🤤 Gracias Sofias!

I didn’t dine in for my first experience with Sofia’s so am unable to comment on service and atmosphere, but I got a takeout. I had been looking for a replacement for the wonderful lengua dinner that I used to get from a restaurant near my house, Chilangua Express, which recently closed. I have been craving lengua ever since but was unsuccessful in finding a replacement until I checked out the menu at Sofia’s. When I found Lengua De Res on the menu I thought I would give it a try. I can truly say that Sofia’s lengua with salsa verde dinner was incredible. The meat was tender and the sauce was flavorful but not too spicy. Absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Burrito Suizo Dinner and was also impressed. Additionally, the guacamole appetizer was deliciously creamy and not overpowered by onions. I am so happy to finally have found a place where I know I will get a delicious lengua dinner that is perfectly done. I would recommend Sofia’s for some really good authentic Mexican food.

I’m happy this restaurant decided to call West Milwaukee home. Food is amazing! I had the enchiladas in salsa verde (To Go) and it was delicious. Staff were awesome too! Definitely recommend.

I had two shrimp ceviche tostada which was very tasty. Couldve been chopped up a but more but tasty.

One steak taco which as not the best to me but cooked well. The beans and rice werent my favorite either.

Pina Colada was very tasty. I enjoyed it very much. The service was great and workers there were very nice

It was quiet the bartender was helpful and courteous. We went for taco Tuesday $2 tacos good deal. Margaritas only one size but definitely got us right.

Finally made it to Sofia's for dinner tonight! The service was top notch. Our server was so friendly and especially sweet with our girls. Our food arrived quickly. Everything tasted fresh and was so flavorful. We will definitely be back!
