We were visiting family in Westfield, and they took us here for dinner after flying in from San Antonio. The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed the entire evening.

Great salmon and salad, cute little place in the woods - we are definitely coming back again and again, 20 minutes out from the cabin

On a trip back to Wisconsin we were looking for a good supper club for a Friday night fish fry. As expected for a Friday night, it was busy, so we sat at the bar and waited for a table. After being ignored for about 15 minutes, the bartender finally got us a beer and a soda. We waited for nearly an hour for a table, and ordered fish dinners with an order of cheese curds for an appetizer. The cheese curds were the best thing we had - the fish was super fishy, the service abrupt to the point of being rude, and the rest of the meal was pretty awful. The baked potato tasted like it had been made a few days before and rewarmed to the point of drying out. If you had planned on eating here - skip it. One of the worst fish fries we have ever had!

This place has a real north woods supper club feel! Nice woodsy bar area to have a drink while you wait for a table. The dining room fills up on Friday, so reservations might be a good idea, although our wait was probably only 15 minutes. People are friendly so time went fast.We shared a regular fish fry and a walleye dinner. Both were excellent! The cod was fried in a crunchy batter that was crisp, not greasy and didn't dry out the fish. Walleye was nicely pan fried, moist and delicious. Potato pancakes were some of the best I've had. And the rye bread was outstanding; could have eaten a loaf of it!Looking forward to coming back to try other tempting items on the menu!

Took a spur of the moment trip an hour north of home and discovered this gem. Great supper club that knows how to do it. Courteous, friendly, over the top gracious. Hostess was the best! She asked if we wanted to be seated immediately or have a drink. We were seated when we wanted and the food was so good. Great salad and French onion soup was delicious (hard to find a really good one). Ordered the scallops and prime rib. Scallops were simple and delicious and cooked correctly. They know their prime rib. Great rub and we ordered it medium rare. They nailed it. Don't miss this place. Well worth the stop.

Was vacationing nearby, and was looking for a real "local" spot. And boy did I find it. So much so, that if you're not a local, my advice: DON'T GO you won't be welcome. Atleast, that's my experience. Brought in a party of 8. They sat us. Nice enough hostess. But it went off the rails quickly when I went to the bar for drinks. I asked the bartender for a few drinks, including a an old fashioned. He didn't how to make it. He kept asking me if I wanted it sour. And I said, I don't want a whiskey sour, but an old fashioned. He got visibly upset. And made me feel like a jerk. I then just said give me a bourbon rocks instead. And, when the 13 dollar bill came, I tipped him 10 bucks! Figured it would be an olive branch of kindness. No hard feelings type thing. We all started eating, and when I used the bathroom later I had to pass through the bar--I heard all the locals making fun of my old fashioned request. Gee, I wonder who told them? And just to make sure I wasn't hearing things, I sent my brother through the bar who confirmed that everyone was in fact talking crap about us. We ended up tipping well regardless. This isn't so much a review of the food, as it is my out-of-towner experience...the food was OK I suppose. But it would have tasted much better if the bartender wasn't a total and complete JERK.

Perfect spot for Friday fish fry. Called ahead for a take out order and the food was ready right on time. All of the fish was fresh and perfectly breaded. I particularly liked the thick walleye filets, as they have a bit more flavor. Comes with fries or potatoes. A small up-charge for the sweet potato fries. All dinners come with a great tartar sauce, not overly creamy coleslaw, and nice slice or rye - the perfect compliments!
