The cooks are absolutely amazing at making my burgers just right. Best fish fry in central Wisconsin!!! The enviornment is great and the employees are super awesome and treat you as part of the Trailside family. Nothing but love for this place!

Visiting wausau for the weekend and came here to watch a badger game one saturday. Sara was an amazing server! She is so friendly and attentive, we were never waiting for a drink! Free shots on touchdowns! Had so much fun we came back the next day for a packer game!

The Food is amazing! The Fish Fry is the best around! Atmosphere is pretty good, as I have met some of the nicest ppl there so far. However, the service is what bothered me the most. I walked in 9/27/24 to order a drink, and some food to go. While waiting, I was noticed by the skinny blonde bartender, (Haley) but she ignored me, and started socializing with some ppl 4 barstools down from me making casual talk. This was approximately 8pm while the kitchen closes on Fridays @ 830pm. It was extremely busy, and all I wanted was some food, and maybe a few drinks before going home after a long shift. The other bartenders noticed this as well, and came to my rescue before the kitchen closed. Idk what was behind this, and hoping to be treated better next time. Again, the food was well worth the visit!

A nice local bar and restaurant. They serve some terrific meals. I like everything they serve is excellent! They also have really good appetizers. Very good cheese curds!

Last night I recommended to come here for Pizza and Wings! Drive in and park and see the 2 people for kitchen out the back door for a smoke.. and they saw us. Walk in and sit at a table and 2 guys walked in after us and sat at table next to us. And waitress went to the guys table 1st… 😒 so lady behind bar squeezed between the chairs to get around so I asked for menus and she brought them over and told us the special.. and left and more people are coming in and sitting in the dining area… sat for a good 5-10 mins and I went up to the bar to get us a beer 🍻 and no one behind the counter. I hear the kitchen ladies talking and stood there for about 5-7 mins and NO ONE checked the bar… my husband came and said let’s go! While walking out said BYE to kitchen ladies and walk outside and lady that was behind bar was standing there lighting up a cigarette… and told her BYE too! By the time we drove out she was back inside… which wasn’t long to leave… we then when to another establishment and within 1 min we were greeted and by 2-3 mins we had a beer 🍻… VERY DISAPPOINTED!! Try to support local businesses and they didn’t want our money…

Says it is a sports bar went in there to eat fish and watch packer game but was told that only brewers would be on 8 of the TVs in the dining room. Walleye I ordered had more bones then I have ever seen. Definitely will find a different place while here for work

Always top notch. Try the fish fry. Catfish and blue gill are stand outs. Great curds and pickles
