Backwoods Bar & Grill

Backwoods is one of our favorite places by our cabin! They have great food and friendly staff. Prices are on par with the area. Great bar area to sit at or dining room. In the summer we love to sit out on the deck and look at the lake. Such a great place!

Best place on the Chain Lakes for Bloody Mary’s wonderful docks for boats to come off the lake and up to the Bar and Dinner. Traditional must stop place

Stayed at one of their cabins . They are older rustic but clean and maintained.

Their fries and burgers are amazing. They're bloody Marys are top-notch as well! You can drive on land or boat up to this place to park. You can also dine in or take out. There is a pretty good size deck facing chain lake part of it is covered and part of it is open.

Yum! Yum! Yum! We went there after dropping off our daughter at camp. It's just a small, Backwoods bar and grill, very down-home, small-town feel. It's a really great little place. We had the fish fry and the combination appetizer. So good! They were short staffed, but still had yummy food, got our orders right, knew what drinks we had, very impressive! The fried fish came out piping hot! Fish cools down really fast, so as a Mom, I'm usually eating lukewarm or cold fish. This was super hot and super good! The appetizer was amazing too! Definitely want to go back again!

Fun dive bar with seating inside. They handed out some free nachos and salsa while the badgers were playing but also have a full food menu.

Pizza was very good. Service after a bit was very friendly and helpful.
